    I wanted to love this. My 25 yo KA mixer slowly faded and i neede a new one. I read rave reviews on NY Times Wirecutter about this model. I hate the design. Getiing the bowl off and on is akward. You have to tilt and lock in. Its finnicky. The lift mechansim is weird. Its a handle that you half turn away from you. The motor was not at all as powerful as i thought it would be and i just make basic things like cookies or whipped cream. I returned it. Best Buy does have awesome customer service.

    Obviously high quality mixer, but the bowl isn’t the easiest to secure and you have to remove it each time you want to access the contents of the bowl, which makes it a lot less easy to you than the tilt head.

    Forget Price Match - They do not honor it

    If Best Buy is going to have 3rd party vendor, they should let the consumer's know. I purchased this mixer and a month later it is put on sale for $100 less. When I try to get the price match guarantee, I'm told to contact the seller, who has refused to honor the price match. With only a 15 day return window, I'm out of luck. This sucks!

    Fantastic until it broke and you absolutely cannot buy parts for it. You can find a repair shop and pay ungodly amounts of money to fix a machine that was already stupid expensive.

    Less than two months after receiving the mixer (maybe about 5. uses), the lift mechanism stopped working. A quick Google search shows this is a common issue. I am outside the return window for BestBuy and now will have to go through the KitchenAid warranty. Very frustrating for the price of this mixer.

    Recived Used damaged item instead of new!

    I would give a 0 star if possible. Ordered a Kitchenaid mixer for our daughter-in-law as a house warming gift. The local store did not have the color she wanted so we had to order online. Recived the item mid July and she chose not to open until they moved in to their new place the first week of August. Upon opening the box the item was not new it was used. The mixer had icing on it, the paddle attachment was peeling and the arm that holds the bowl was bent. Took the mixer to the local Bestbuy in Avon, IN they refused to exchange it due to it being outside their 14 day return window. This is completely unacceptable and if it is not taken care of we will no longer do business with Bestbuy.

    This kitchenaid mixer doesn't mix ingredients well. It leaves unmixed items in bottom of bowl. I would like to exchange this one for the tilt head version

    Failed completely 6 mos out of warranty

    Purchased in December 2023, mixer stopped working at all last month (1 1/2 years after purchase). KitchenAid has a 1 year warranty on this so I guess I'm out of luck. Do not purchase, do not recommend.

    Three uses before it breakdowns.

    Had the mixer for 6 weeks and it decided not to work anymore. The lift handle no longer lifts. When I tilted the mixer to get the model number underneath, a bolt dropped out and hit my countertop. Can't believe this. Only used it three times!!! Seems like shoddy manufacturing going on here. No I need to deal with their service center. Should be fub

    Bought for my wife for Christmas it worked great for cakes but when it came to dough it stopped working

    This is my second KitchenAid mixer in 2 years. My last one had a bearing burn out shortly after a year and this one I've had a month and it has a loud annoying banging sound. It seems to be caused by the bowl "lifter" not being tight enough but not positive. For this kind of money I expect better.

    I received a used one and tried to suck it up and use it anyway… it broke literally two weeks from purchase.

    I see nothing but good reviews. I bought this yesterday, picked it up today and tried to make the dough. The hook worked for a couple of minutes and then it would no longer move. I was able to salvage the dough and knead it myself. The bread did turn out okay. I am going to take this back, but I am very reluctant to get another one.

    Came missing the knob that goes on the lift handle. Product almost looks refurbished as far as the blue paint.
