    I didnt expect this from such a good brand. The Grinder looks great on my kitchen desk but Lid can be designed to be a little tight to avoid spills.

    Doesn't do the job as I needed.

    I bought this coffee grinder and had to return it. When I grind coffee, I like a fine grind and always use Starbucks coffee. This coffee grinder grinds your coffee to a certain point, then it just keeps grinding but the top of your coffee remains in bean form. I have to keeps shaking/stirring/patting down the coffee so it doesn't get packed under the blades. At a point in the process, I have to use a butter knife to loosen the coffee from the bottom and repeat the process. Very disappointed.

    It did not last very long. It last about three months after I bought this product. I am not sure what goes wrong with this product

    It did not crush the coffee as fine as I needed it to and cleaning it was a little hassle.

    We had exact same model and make grinder as this for many years, wonderful device, only that one was well made and not too noisy. Had to replace after six years of regular daily use. This one which we bought as a replacement was very disappointing, noisy and felt very flimsy. The grinder bowl jammed in after a week of use. We took it back for a refund. Poor quality from such a respected name.

    So disappointed. Coffee beans take forever to breakdown and so much stays embedded in the canister and blade.

    Dont waster your money on this. Never expected this from Brand like kitchen aid to selling something with big flaw. When you grind anything in this fine course will come out of the bown and when you uncover the lid that all gonna mess up. Rightly described by by other reviewers also. Trust it!!

    This is an embarrassment to the KitchenAid brand. Heavy, clunky and not very efficient. Unless you grind a couple of tablespoons at a time, the grounds get caught under the blade so you have to dig them out with a utensil before you can pour them into a container. Even then, the size and weight of this device make that kind of awkward.

    Had a different grinder for about three years but it finally quit working so thought I would try this one. This one worked 3 or 4 times than quit working. When it did work it created a mess every time to get the grounded coffee out. Returned it and bought a different one that I’m very happy with.

    Not good for grinding light spices

    Bought this in June 2019. In March 2021, it is dead. While it was working, we couldn't get things to grind unless some liquid was present besides the spices, which is a bummer. Basically things kept on flying around when the blade was spinning. If you want to grind spices, look at something else.

    What I can say? It’s the one of the worst coffee grinders I’ve ever bought. Need to do 3-4 rounds half a min each to grind coffee beans to perfection. Now Im back to Krupp for coffee and my wife grinding spices on this.

    a gap between the bean cup and lid make bean grinds fly everywhere then you open it
