Great to smooth hot soups directly in the stock pot. I look at it as a safety issue, not tranferring hot items from the pot to the blender

Easy to use

This one doesn’t have the safety lock and is much easier to use one handed. It doesn’t have both a forward and reverse blade like the cusinart did but still blends smoothies and soups well.

Nicely made, feels solid

Replacement for a cuisinart that lasted almost+10 years. Use it for fruit smoothie and soups, don't use it for ice. Hopefully it lasts like the last one
