  • Please, is it cordless, or corded?

    Cord attached to hand mixer is sufficiently long to be able to use conveniently from plugin sites at a distance from prep areas, yet not so long to become a danger for tangling or dragging on floor to potentially become tripping hazard.

  • Does this model have an on and off switch? Or do I I have to hold the switch the whole time I want it to run.....or when I turn it on it will run on it's own and if I want to stop it I will turn the switch off?

  • Will this hand blender make whip cream or mayonnaise without a whisk attachment?

    Does not incorporate enough free air for whipped cream in my experience (can’t beat Kitchenaid stand mixer!), but does quite well when dribbling oil to make homemade mayonnaise.

  • Does the cord interfere with its use? Or is it the kind you can charge?

    I haven't had any problems with the cord interfering with making smoothies and soups. It isn't the kind you can charge. I do make sure to unplug it before I dismantle it. Good length on the cord. I brought the corded one because it cost less and I have outlets on my counter. I am sure it would be convenient to have a cordless one but I am pleased with the corded one.
