This is my first attachment for my Kitchenaid, and it is fantastic! It is very easy to set up and get going. Fresh ground meat is fantastic and extremely versatile. You are going to spend an extra 5 minutes on setup and an extra 5-10 on cleanup with this. If you have that 10-15 minutes to spare in your cooking process, fresh ground beef / pork / anything you want is well worth it. Take a look at some videos of this on YouTube for some real insight into the many uses it can bring! I haven't made homemade sausage yet, but that's next! AWESOME addition!

I purchased the KitchenAid - Food Grinder Attachment on a whim. One of the best whim purchases ever. Grinds evenly from start to completion, easy to operate and clean.

Works exactly like it should! All metal parts are best for this, and they work great when chilled just as the instruction set. First out of the box I ground up some leftover brisket into hamburger meat and made some amazing burgers with it. If you're on the fence, just get it.

For the fact that it’s the metal one and not the plastic one this is already so worth the money in its aesthetic and it’s heft. Once in use though, and mind you I am nothing but an amateur, it’s freaking awesome to see it just mince about anything lol been making way more home made burgers and meatballs than buying out.

For what it is, it's the best value in food grinders if you have a KitchenAid stand mixer. Anything better requires a stand-alone machine costing much more. Much higher quality than the almost the same price plastic version. The only problem, as with all electric grinders, is it can heat up some when stuffing sausage. I've owned mine for 4 years and use it 8-10x per year.

It's so easy to use and clean. My kids love the quality ground meat tacos I make them. It's also great for making ceviche!

This little attachment took on the holidays with grinding up all the meat for the home-made meatballs.

Great addition to my kitchenaid. I liked how easy it is to grind meat. Some meat got stuck around gears but it was easy to clean and remove.

This attachment is simply amazing. I never knew i could make my own sausages with ease or ground up some chuck for putting patties on the grill. Its so much better than buying premade patties or sausages. This way i can incorporate other ingredients into my food and i know its fresh. Side note do not put this in the dish washer!

We have been wanting a food grinder for awhile. We saw there was a sale and we bought it. We have made many things since we got it. We made hamburgers first! Works wonderfully!

Does a great job, easy to use. If making sausages i would recommend an actual stuffer-

Very sturdy. Fit as expected and worked great to create our ground beef out of a chuck roll.

High quality and easy to clean. Only real downside is that there are a lot of little pieces when disassembled (which you have to do to clean). I hope that I never drop the gear down the garbage disposal....
