Bought this to replace my 20 year old plastic version, which is starting to crack just a little. This thing is great and I believe it will last for 40 years or more, so I will have to include it in my will to pass down to the next generations.

If you need a food grinder. This will not fail you. It's simply the best. Give it a hard look.

The metal food grinder attachment is awesome! Ground 10 pounds of beef into fresh hamburg in a short amount of time & easy cleaning after use. So happy we got one.

This is a solid metal piece of kitchen aid equipment. I knew the plastic one would last as long so I decided to purchase this one and glad I did. It grinds meat with no problem.

We ground up an entire 14 pound brisket. Worked like a champ!

We used it to make some homemade sausage. The grinder was easy to attach to the mixer stand. It worked great and was easy to clean withno problems. Also the box is great to keep for storage.

If you have a kitchenaid and love making home made proteins this is the best thing ever. The plastic one im sure is great but freezing the metal hopper really makes keeping meat cool during grind much easier.

I always prefer to purchase the brand name accessories and for goor reason. You get what you pay for.
