I HAVE GROUND CHICKEN AND EYE OF ROUND, DOES A MUCH BETTER JOB AND FASTER THAT THE PLASTIC KITCHENAID GRINDER. THE MEAT SEEMS TO DROP THROUGH THE SHOOT AND GET PICKED UP BY THE AUGER FASTER. GLAD I BOUGTH IT.

Glad I read the reviews about the plastic grinder. I have definitely been using this device over the course of the last week! My daughter has used it as well after I showed her how to set it up...pretty straight forward.

This is a solid metal piece of kitchen aid equipment. I knew the plastic one would last as long so I decided to purchase this one and glad I did. It grinds meat with no problem.

Perfect for all of my meat grinding needs, and goes well with the instructional video on how to make my own sausage that I like to watch with my pal Newman. I now know where the meat goes.

Great attachment. By itself I have no issues with this unit. It is a pain to clean which stinks, but it is well made, more so than the plastic. If you're using this for high fat meats, I would recommend placing this in the fridge before use. It is really nice to control what goes into your burgers or sausages but we do not use it very frequently.

If you have a kitchenaid and love making home made proteins this is the best thing ever. The plastic one im sure is great but freezing the metal hopper really makes keeping meat cool during grind much easier.

This is a great tool that makes the kitchen aid system even better! Nothing is better (or cheaper) than grinding up your own food

A good choice to prepare sausage, and another food like yuca and corn arepas

We have used it to make fresh ground meat every week since we bought this attachment and it works like a charm. It is also very easy to wash since it comes with a brush for the inner side. Best ever made grinder.

Had the plastic meat grinder before purchasing this one. This version is more durable with a larger capacity than the plastic version and very durable overall. I am very happy with my purchase.
