Ive had my stand mixer for years and never bought any attachments for it. Im all about food prep and Ive been using ground chicken but it's several dollars more a pound! I thought Id try grinding it myself and I have to say it's not only easy but kind of entertaining. The higher the speed on the mixer the faster it grinds it up and itnhas a little food pusher so you dont accidentally hurt your hands. You can alsonrice color flower and shred cheese up with it. It was easy to install on the blender and will shorty pay for itself with the money I'll save grinding my own chicken and turkey.

Awesome attachment!!! Well worth the money. We ground our own meat, make own sausages too. i recommend get this aluminum versus the plastic attachment, will last longer.

It does exactly what it says it will. It's sturdy and easy to use. Only down side is cleaning it, which isn't a design flaw...just a reality of grinding meat. We're enjoying fresh sausage seasoned to our personal taste.

I tried grinding meat! It's easy to grind and easy to clean! I don't have to go to the market to buy ready made ground meat! I buy nice meat and grind at home!

Bought this for my husband. It’s a high quality essential for the kitchen while using our kitchen aid. Great purchase for making our own meat. Now instead of buying our meat we make our own.

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. It was easy to put together and looks great on the counter. It works fantastic and she has whipped up some amazing treats.

This is the best grinder I can imagine. There are 3 disks to give you the exact texture you need. The all metal body is easy to clean and is built to last a lifetime.

Bought this but havent had a chance to use it yet but it’s much better than the cheaper plastic version. Better quality would last longer and easier to clean with boil water I supposed.

Spending extra money to get this material is well worth it. It gives a sturdy feel to its durability. The attachment was able to grind meat mixed with vegetables without problems. The parts come apart for easy cleaning.

My husband bought me my first Kitchen Aid mixer along w/this meat grinder attachment and I love it!! It’s great!! Very easy & quiet to operate . Does a wonderful job grinding up all sorts of meats. We use it mainly for venison.

I decided to buy this at the last minute when my husband and son needed to grind deer meat...honestly I was worried and scared to death it was going to blow up my beautiful mixer I have waited half of my adult life wanting! The packaging is awesome and everything you get in this box for $79 is great! It was super easy to set up and it ground up quite a bit of meat! My mixer was very easy to clean up and now it’s back to making cookies and all...so if you’re like me and you’re thinking purchasing this may be against your better judgment...rest easy because it is worth it and your mixer CAN do it! I will be purchasing the other available attachments:)
