Blades are nice and sharp. Does not even make my mixer grunt! I process many types of meat and works great. The hopper could be larger as the mixer could handle it, and if you combine different products like fat and venison, the hopper is a little small. Easy to take apart and clean. Overall another quality Kitchen Aid product.

Finally pulled the trigger for the upcoming deer season so we can make our own sausage and ground meat. Tried it out, works great . Make sure you put it in freezer for about an hour prior to use and that your meat is almost frozen for better results.

The meat was ground with no problems, and it was easy to clean up. Storage in the box is so convenient. I look forward to using it a lot more!

I love how it is easy to clean after use and it is so economical if you already have the kitchen aid mixer.
