THE MEAT SEEMS TO DROP THROUGH THE SHOOT AND GET PICKED UP BY THE AUGER FASTER. GLAD I BOUGTH IT.

I knew the plastic one would last as long so I decided to purchase this one and glad I did. It grinds meat with no problem.

Great for what it is

It is a pain to clean which stinks, but it is well made, more so than the plastic. If you're using this for high fat meats, I would recommend placing this in the fridge before use. It is really nice to control what goes into your burgers or sausages but we do not use it very frequently.

The plastic one im sure is great but freezing the metal hopper really makes keeping meat cool during grind much easier.

Very useful kitchen aid attachment

It is also very easy to wash since it comes with a brush for the inner side. Best ever made grinder.
