This a very quiet dishwasher and very glad we purchased. The heating/drying capability is spot on.

I knew what features I was looking for and this Kitchenaid has them ALL. This is my third dishwasher, but my first Kitchenaid. I was looking for a dishwasher that was quiet, has adjustable tines (upper and lower), sleek look on the outside, but a display so I could know the progress. Lots of room and easy to load. This has EVERYTHING! It's so quiet my husband didn't believe me when I told him it was on. It has a powerscrub that I have put to the test. I have always rinsed and scrubbed my dishes before putting them into the dishwasher; makes no sense right? With this Kitchenaid Architect II Series I don't need to do this any longer. I have put everything from oatmeal to spaghetti sauce and it always comes out clean. My favorite feature is that all the dishes separate and none of them "fall on top of each other". BEST dishwasher EVER!

We purchased this based on the CR reviews. It was a replacement for a 17 year old KitchenAid which we really liked but had problems with the electronics and many parts are obsolete. Out of the box this performs well and seems to be a very nice machine. I hope the electronics are more reliable than the older one and KitchenAid will provide longer parts support.

Consumer reports rated this machine as one of its highest. I understand why. It does everything right. I am more than pleased with it. I purchased a different model from another store a week earlier and it did not work after installation. They and their product became a nightmare that has not yet been resolved. Best Buy and this machine were flawless.

The dishwasher is everything we wanted it to be after replacing our loud, poor performing last dishwasher. Tons of room for dishes. 4.5 stars due to a bad system to mount the dishwasher when having a stone countertop.

Only drawback is that it holds to many dishes. Quiet and efgicient.
