Dishwasher or installation problem

It is now August 9th, and I still can't use it because it floods my kitchen. Geek Squad did the installation and said everything looked fine. I ran the dishwasher at bedtime, and it flooded the kitchen overnight. Geek squad came back two weeks later, said everything was fine, and the unit flooded our wood floors again. Still no functioning dishwasher after a month, and I have to pay to replace the hardwood floor in my kitchen.

Electronics failed & company can't deliver parts

It was still under warranty and service showed up fairly quickly, but after 5 months we are still waiting for the part so the repair can be completed. It's still back-ordered with no estimate of when it will be available.

Won't last long.

Extremely disappointed to see that this was such a widespread problem and will never buy a KitchenAid again.

Electronic panel failure - again

However, the electronic panel has once again malfunctioned and we are forced to wait for service to tell us it’s 275 to replace. Not even two years old and we spent $700 on this. Frustrating and will be the last brand I buy of this.

Control panel gone wrong three times in a year

Very disappointed, not what you would expect from Kitchen Aid brand and given the price of appliance. Will be buying a different brand of kitchen appliances in the future.

Control panel caught fire

Kitchen Aid's response was to give 25% off a new one. Kitchen Aid had a large lawsuit about control panel fires in other models, however, this model not included in that suit. KitchenAid, never again.

do not buy this model, cheaply made, poor quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.purchased this in Oct2019, the top panel has failed 4 times already, first 2 times while under warranty, last two times after warranty expired. the 4th failure was today 16Nov2021. I would have expected the entire unit to be replaced by now, but they keep trying to repair it. thankfully KitchenAid is covering this last repair, as they said for the last time. if this breaks again, it will be replaced with another brand. this is a cheaply made model or poor quality. complete garbage in terms of longevity. don't waste your money.

Hot Garbage.

I've purchased the dishwasher a year ago and it's been nothing but trouble since we purchased it. I would guess we're around 7 or 8 visits from technicians and the thing still doesn't work right. Now it at least seems to be washing dishes, but heaven forbid you leave them in there for very long unless you want all your stuff to smell like mildew. Tried multiple cleaners, home solutions, etc and just can't figure it out. If you have an older dishwasher, just get it fixed! They don't make them like they use to (I sound like my grandfather). Also to note, despite multiple attempts to contact KitchenAid customer service directly, they never once responded.

Great, until a spectacular failure

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was a very good dishwasher for three months--then it just stopped cleaning, a little bit at a time, until it stopped altogether. We ran it with dishwasher cleaner and with vinegar; we attempted to flush the arms; we ran it with a variety of settings; we ran it with light loads and pre-rinsed loads. We eventually felt compelled to risk having a repair person come in during lockdown, and he eventually replaced the arms as they were "exceedingly gunky" (and it took weeks to get the replacements). We followed all the recommendations the repair person left us with. A month and a half later, the dishwasher is not cleaning again, and we are back to hand-washing everything.

Control panel went bad in less than one year
