Out of the box, this product is outdated. Firmware upgrades are needed. Even after I installed the firmware the sub was over powering and diffused sounding, the dialogue was still hardly audible, and the controls were not working well. I wrote in describing the problem to the support team. All I have heard back is crickets. Shame that you can't even get a follow-up from the Klipsch support team. Even a simple "Sorry you experienced difficulties, could you tell us a bit more about the problem..."

This system did not work well for me. I did not get a great bass sound. And it kept cutting out on me after I pause it for a phone call. Turned it back on and had no sound had to reboot the system. It did the same thing a few times when I'd fast forward a movie or TV show.

The wireless connection of the subwoofer is garbage. I have to replug it almost every time I turn the system back on. I like the sound, but it's not worth the frustration. I'm definitely returning these!

Sound bar and subwoofer are performing well in our high ceiling great room.

Sound bar has three speakers and it does a great job with sound.

The sound bar series will stop working randomly after 18-24 months. If this series is still an option, DO NOT BUY.

Got this installed by Geek Squad 3 days ago. Now Thanksgiving so can't return, I can't wait to hand it back to them. When switching inputs on my Roku tv it randomly loses sound and have to factory reset, counting 5 times now. Subwoofer has worked twice. Pairing, uh what pairing, doesn't exist. Do not buy this speaker. You are gambling. One star because I had to.

Easy to install, great sound. Works well with tv.

I'll be returning this and either trying another unit or pick up something else. The Arc port and bluetooth didnt work. Sound only worked with PWM. Tested on a couple TVs to verify it was this device and not the TV.

Using my Apple TV 4K and Sony X810C, the sound bar was not able to decode Dolby Digital unless settings changed for the Apple TV to decode all audio to Dolby 5.1. However this lowers sound quality and I could barely hear dialogue. I had to keep turning up and down the volume for action movies. I tried to use optical from the TV instead, no luck. I even performed the firmware updates to the sound bar and the TV... still no luck. I won’t give up on Klipsch as I have bought multiple Klipsch headphones and speakers before. However, they could have taken some hints from other manufacturers.

The unit was great at first and then about 6 months in the sub stopped working. I do own several Klipsch speakers for my theater and I am sad to say the support has been not reachable, after being unable to get some one on the phone I opened a support ticket/email, I received a couple emails saying they were busy and would get back to me soon, but after 2 months that has even stopped.

The problem with this Soundbar is that it depending on your serial number it requires a firmware update for it to function properly and sound good. Sounds easy right? Nope. It's a 50/50 shot whether the update will work or it will brick your soundbar. Once it is bricked there is nothing you or Klipsch can do to fix it.
