Q: Does this have surround sound ?
A: like a real surround? Yes, but not yet. Eventually you'll be able to buy and add Rear surround speakers to make this a true 5.1 setup.
Q: Does the Bar 48 have eARC, or just ARC?
A: Arc only
Q: Does the sounbar and sub have the soft cloth covering or all hard surface?
A: The soundbar itself is covered with cloth / speaker grill material on all sides, except a couple areas around the horns on the edge, as well as the back. The subwoofer is 100% all hard surface. No cloth there.
Q: I have an LG TV. Can I use it's remote to control the sound bar?
A: On my Samsung I have to use the kliptch soundbar remote for the sound. I can use the Comcast remote for turning the TV on off and to change channels but I have to use the soundbbar remote to control sound. I’ve never owned anything LG so cant speak for them.
