I have the whole klipsch setup up in the basement and I like mine a little more basey and this is perfect.

I am not Sound expert. I can't explain technically. but so far I am loving this subwoofer. Powerful bass.

Bought both the 10" and 12" Klipsch and tested at home to compare. Originally, I was looking at the 10",300 watt to replace a dead similar one. My grandson had the software to test the range and the 12" went lower, better. Because of this difference, we went with the larger, more expensive. Kept watching prices and eventually used a sale price from Best Buy to get the 12" for the same price as the regular price for the 10". Very Happy.

And balanced lows when you need it. Plus it looks badass. A great addition to any home theater system.
