This Klipsch Reference R-12SW subwoofer features a 12" spun-copper IMG (injection-molded graphite) woofer and built-in digital amplifier, so you can easily add robust bass to your existing audio setup.

    Great sub

    Well I had a view subs and always wanted this one first I wanted the 10 but then I start reading about it and then they mentioned the 12” so I went and got it I can’t believe the sound :D am amazed it’s deep base and rumble man you can’t go wrong even when you play music sounds awesome my dad tough I bought a dj ..... Hihih we’ll go get yours I will say 100% recommend..

    Great subwoofer

    Ask my neighbors they all know I added a new subwoofer to my electronic collection!!!! Powerful sound , clean , great price looking forward to add another one , I replaced an old klipsch subwoofer that give me great performance for many years

    This sub will blow your head!

    This little monster will rock your house! It's amazing how powerful it could be and how great it sounds when rightly configured on your receiver. I'm using it with a pair of R28F, a pair of R15M and a Denon x3300 and this sub is what makes that setup a full cinema experience. I love it!

    Give your hifi the kick it needs

    My review of the Klipsch R-12sw subwoofer. OK I might not have needed it with a pair of Klipsch R-28s up front with a R-62C center channel and a pair of Klipsch R-24 towers for rear speakers. That is powered with an Onkyo 576 AV receiver that puts out maybe 75 watts per channel. So you might think I really didn't need a 12" sub with a set up like this, I mean it had a solid tight bass. But ah, but now it has thunder you know that kick in the chest thump that used to only get when at a concert or 4th of July. But seriously even at low dB levels the bass still comes at you. Makes movies at home better than going to theaters. Makes your favorite music sound like you have never heard it before. You can't go wrong with this awesome subwoofer.

    Looks amazing, sounds amazing

    I've got two of these bad boys in my Onkyo/Klipsch 7.2 setup. Which involves two of these subs, a pair of Klipsch R-28F and two pairs of Klipsch R-15M bookshelf speakers, all four of which are on speaker stands. Being in the sweet spot, at the center of this system, is truly an experience to behold. And these two subs really bring it home. Just having one was fine, but I had the money to burn and decided two would be even better. And it turned the entire couch into the "sweet spot".

  • When I plug this sub woofer up using my pre wired sub wire for my theater... nothing happens? Had to use old white rca plugs to get it to work... is this common?

    If using a low line input it needs to be on the left channel input only. And ensure your receiver settings are enabling the sub to run as such. Hope this helps

  • I have RF62s paired with an Onkyo TX-SR606. Should I go with the 10' or 12' sub? Mostly music but movies on the weekends. Also, will my receiver be able to power them?

    Unless you're listening to super bass heavy music or have a 2000 square foot listening room one 10" will be fine.if you want always find yourself wanting more bass the 12" sub will be louder and deeper but also take up more room. These subs have their own amp. Your reciever only sends a signal to them. So you will be fine with either size

  • I BELIEVE THERE IS 2 WAYS TO HOOK IT UP TO MY RECIEVER. WHICH IS THE BEST WAY. LE, OR RED N BLACK LIKE SPEAKERS. I WILL BE USING IT MAINLY FOR 2 CHANNEL STEREO BUT WANT ALITTLE MORE BASS. THEN ALITTLE FOR MOVIES. THXS.

    I have mine hooked up via LFE and sub out on the back my receiver. By doing it this way, bass management is handled by the receiver and not by the controls on the back of the sub. Just remember that if you choose to have receiver handle bass management, move the cross over dial on back of sub to its highest crossover so that it bypasses the sub's internal crossover and then adjust the gain to a level that is appropriate for your room and speakers.

  • Is Best Buy a official Klipsch dealer? I ask because Klipsch wont uphold its warranty unless you buy from a official Klipsch dealer

    Yes, Bestbuy is a official Klipsch dealer. You can verify that through Klipsch's site specifically if you choose. I can honestly attest this is accurate. One, I have bought from there an utilized warranty. And that was before I later became employed as a manager at Bestbuy.
