I was looking for a new woofer for my surround sound. I was searching online reading reviews trying to decide when I came across this one. Lucky for me it was onsale due to Black Friday. I picked this up for $225!!! No brainer since it was 1/2 off.12" 400 watt woofer! I'm glad I got this one. The bass is amazing on this thing. its loud With no distortion. I'm glad I purchased this item. By far the best I've owned. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

As a scientist with a PhD in Biophysics from Harvard and postgraduate training at MIT, I am very critical about technology. I believe that the Klipsch - Reference 12 400W Powered Subwoofer is one of the best on the market for the money! With 400 watts output the Klipsh Subwoofer, out-powers the competitors that cost twice the money. It is easy to operate and delivers deep rich base. I highly recommend this subwoofer to even the most critical audiophile!

I love this sub woofer. I can FEEL the booms! I had no idea what i was missing with the previous sub woofer.... my husband was right! Watching movies is much more exciting now.

My prior K sub stopped working, didn't want to part with it so I took it to get repaired. The guy said I would be better off replacing then repairing as the repair would be costly. No problem, had Klipsch for years. Went to BB and got the 10inch but that sub seemed to struggle to keep up so I returned it and got the 12inch sub, now I'm back in business. I don't even think I have power 1/2 way and it gives that deep sound for my movies and music.

This is a quite powerful sub woofer, more than my living room would ever need. This speaker is highly recommended by me, if you need bass , this will provide what you need..

I have Three speakers, all klipsch and that is all I need. Our house is now filled with full, pure sound., you could say that it is music to my ears. Thank you Best Buy

Purchased to replace my Polk audio subwoofer that started to fail. Matches my Klipsh speakers. Very clean audio. No pops or distortion.

I had always thought my system sounded great, however adding the Klipsch Reference R-12SW subwoofer really filled the room with powerful sound. No system is complete without this sub!

Wow. This thing is awesome. So, I’m pretty sure this item went on sale when the new model (wireless) came out. I place my sub up front near my receiver so, I could care less about wireless (you can’t see the wire). Anyway, this thing will rumble your house and your couch. My wife really didn’t think it would make that much of a difference. But now she realizes the huge difference in watching movies with it (or jamming out to some music). The lows hit so hard, I actually turn the bass way down and set the lowest two frequencies minus 4db each because there was too much bass. Do not get this if you live in an apartment or townhouse. You will get shot by your neighbor or have the cops called on you a lot. I live in a single-family home and I still worry about my neighbors when we watch movies like Jurassic Park... Great sub. Easy to set up and adjust. Buy this.

I caught this 12 Klipsch on sale, so glad I have one. Wow, Its only turned up a quarter of the way connected with my soundbar, and its almost too much!!. In love!!

I added this to my 7.1 surround sound system. I already have a BIC 12" sub that runs at 200watts RMS. But I can easily tell you that this Klipsch has more actual power, cleaner punchier bass, and a nicer appearance. I have them both on and it is insane! Crystal clear highs, mids, and lows. I put the whole system together myself from different brand components whenever they where on sale I bought each piece and it sounds better than $4,000 dollar setups I've listen to.

I've own Klipsch speakers for 30 yrs. Did not hesitate to purchase this subwoofer and I was not disappointed. It has more than enough power to meet my needs and sounds great

Klipsch is a legendary name in speakers. The Reference 12 does not disappoint. For a front firing powered sub woofer it is more than capable. Very easy set up. It has deep lows and plenty of power. Once the power switch is turned on, it will automatically awaken when audio is applied to it. Make sure wherever you use this sub that everything around it is secured as those things near by will surely rattle.

I have always been a big fan of Klipsch speakers and this subwoofer is no exception. Way more low end rumble that my last subwoofer had and a nice powerful punch to boot.

Incredible amount of bass for a small affordable sub. Goes surprisingly deep and I haven't heard it break up at my moderately loud listening levels. Definite good purchase.

I bought this Klipsch Reference Speaker to go with my Yamaha( - AVENTAGE 665W 7.2-Ch. Network-Ready 4K Ultra HD and 3D Pass-Through A/V Home Theater Receiver - Black) receiver and surround sound system. It's awesome! I['ve not had any issues with it and find it to really provide the low-end bass for both music and movie watching. GREAT PRODUCT!

Great sub for price. Nice clean sound, and can handle high volume.

I purchased this sub with the rest of Klipsch theater speakers, for the black friday half off sale (11-24-16). This thing shakes the walls in my house! We have only turned up our receiver to 50% but I think any more would be to loud and begin getting complaints from our neighbors. If you are looking for some nice theater-like bass and sound, this subwoofer and speaker system will do the job.

I bought two of these subs instead of one 15 inch. They put out the vibes for sure. Not quiet the body punching base I thought they would by the reviews I read. They are very clear and worth the money tho. I replaced two Polk 100 watt subs, with this purchase. They dedfinaly will put the shake in the floor for you.
