Great sounding, great look too. Bought two pair to use for front and rear. Make sure to match them with a strong center so you don't drown it out though (preferably the Klipsch r-25c for simplicity, but others could work with some tuning).

I have a Denon 530bt receiver and was running 2 Polk towers, Polk center, and Polk rears (no sub). Decided to buy the Klipsch r15 bookshelf’s and get rid of the 5 polk speakers for a cleaner set up. These are simply incredible. So much cleaner than the polks, the difference is startling. TV, movies and music sound amazing. Also got the klipsch 10” sub - which is unreal. The sub and these 2 speakers together would blow away the 5 speaker setup I had before. Even the 2 speakers alone sound much better. I was getting tired of dealing with the different sound modes and having to constantly change the receiver settings with the 5.0 setup. This alleviates that entirely.

Great Speakers! Let them break in!

I bought these on black Friday. At first I liked them, but was still kind of unsure. That was in November and now in March I love these speakers. I think they take a long time to break in, so if you just bought them they will just keep getting better and better. I use them for music. They are paired with my Cerwin Vega VE-15, and do a great job at enhancing the over all sound... plus they keep up with vega's nicely and amazingly! You need to use a really good amp or receiver for them. The more I listen the more I like them!! Just had to throw that out there.

After purchasing the R-28 F floor speakers which are Excellent, i chose to add these small book shelf speakers, gee these things sound awsome for their size, I compared to the bose bookshelf, these outperform them all.I will be adding a Sub Woofer, and center speaker down the road, I purchasd these at another store they were on sale, I recommend these small wonders!

I just bought these speakers to complete my 7.1 surround sound system. I am using them as the surround L & R. I have a Marantz 7002 receiver 7.1 and have Tannoy fronts and center and 2 Velodyne subs. These speakers are the perfect compliment to this system. I just watched the Hobbit in 1080 P from Amazon Prime. The special effects in this movie are captured with these speakers. They can handle the power of my Marantz receiver with room to spare. I would recommend these speakers for anyone who wants to experience true surround sound.

Had a media room but replaced the furniture with a 9' pool table...full Mirage OM sound system, driven by a Marantz SR-6001. Got rid of the OM10's...was very concerned, but put these on a shelf on each side of the center channel. With a great sub, I feel I gained new highs. Gave up some of the fullness of the OM10's for sure, but will sell the OM 10's for more than I paid for the Klipsch...the sound really pops from these. What a great deal, very satisfied. Always been a B&W lover...have a pair of those in another room.

I use these for audio 2 channel only. Speakers are well made with copper spun woofer and aluminum tweeter (no dry rot concern). The crisps are not as high but with good dispersion and clean midrange and good bass. Plenty of 'clean' sound for high volume listening pleasure to extreme metal music playing on the vinyl platter.

Muffled sound in large room with high ceilings. Disappointed. Returned and purchased larger speakers.

    Excellent Audiophile speakers

Klipsch is a known monster in speakers industry. When it comes to natural sound, without missing any details, they do a great job with the reference speakers. They achieve the natural sound with a pair of well built wide range woofer and tweeter in an acoustically designed wooden cabinet. The richness of the sound from just a pair of rightly set reference speakers, is far superior than any other fancy and expensive speakers of giants like Bose.

I'm using these speakers as a two channel system with sub for my bedroom. I'm powering them with an Emotiva mini-x a-100 amp, Schiit Asgard 2 as a preamp, and my computer into a Schiit Bifrost Uber via USB as the source. I bought these speakers as a temporary desktop system until I could afford something more exotic and audiophile rated, but I'm considering just sticking with these. The sound is powerful, warm, and accurate with way better dynamics and imaging than I was expecting for the money. I don't find the treble to be harsh or honky. I can listen to these at high volumes for hours with no fatigue. The mids are beautifully full and warm. I have paired them with a cheap Martin Logan MLT-1 subwoofer that gives a much needed boost to the ultra low end. The only complaint I have is that the binding posts are rather cheap and don't accept banana plugs.

I've spent the last month or so looking for a good set of PC speakers. I tried out several pc speaker systems and none were to my liking. I decided to set off and create a DIY set. I went with these Klipsch speakers and a small amp and hooked them up to my PC. The sound from these speakers is incredible! They can get very loud before any distortion kicks in. For bookshelf speakers, they have pretty decent bass but it's not the same that you would get from a subwoofer. The sound is crisp and clean and they sit perfectly on my computer desk. I was going to go with the 4" but I saw these on sale for the same price so it was a no-brainer. I definitely recommend these to anyone if they're looking for an excellent set of PC speakers.

I purchased these to complete my 7.1 system. I'm using them for my side surround speakers. I can't get over how they sound. I thought my 5.1 sounded full until I added these. WOW! I'm using a Pioneer Elite SC-71 receiver with a Oppo BDP-103 Blu-ray player. I would rather stay home and watch a movie now then go to the theater.

Very good clear sound at low and high levels.

Speaker reviews are very subjective but I can highly recommend these as long as tweeters are placed above ear level. Horns are very directional and not good off axis. These speakers offer clear and dynamic full range sound and sound good at low and high listening levels. Extremely efficient with moderate powered receivers or amplifiers. At msrp of 249.00 they have no competition in my opinion at this price point. Very good for music and movies. A good sub is needed for movies so its a given most people will use with a sub. Ample bass for music without; better with. Good midrange also unlike some other big name. Certainly better speakers available but law of diminishing return certainly applies.

Its really a pleasure coming home and listening to music on these I have a Klipsch Downward Firing Woofer and Surrounds and a Definitive Mythos 7 center channel, and these Book shelf speakers. Over the Yamamha Neo HD 700 and this speaker setup all the CDs Internet Radio, DVD, Blue Ray and Digtal Files just sound Great. I can listen for hours. In this price range I think they are the best

    Klipsch R-15M Speakers

Picked two sets of these up for $125/pair on black Friday which is 1/2 off normal pricing. Paired them with a Klipsch R12SW subwoofer and my older Harmon Karmin amp. I previous had higher end floorstanding Mirage M5 speakers with an Adcom amp and preamp which took a lot of room. This compact package sounds great! Originally thought I would need 4 speakers for the pool table room but the volume and coverage is adequate with 2. Will move the other two downstairs for my home theater. I am going to wall mount these which do NOT take standard wall mount brackets. In fact, they have NO mounting holes in the back or bottom of the speaker cabinets. Due to weight, 10lbs, I purchased clamp speaker wall mounts. Very happy.

Purchased these at Christmas to use as the mains in my home theater. We've thoroughly enjoyed them as a good upgrade for the entry level Paradigm C90 speakers they replaced. I was slightly afraid I wouldn't like the horn tweeter, but I have been very impressed with how the it disperses the highs in the room.

    Soundstage more forward than wide

You definitely get a little more for your money but the bookshelf speakers aren’t quite as versatile as I was hoping. They have a forward focused soundstage which was a surprise considering the wide dispersion tweeters. When I tried them on two separate receivers with live or arena surround they reduce the effect a bit. They still sound more wide open than on bypass but the effects seems to fade in and out compared to my original speakers. The bass is good but can only handle moderate levels before the woofer starts to distort. I’m starting to find this common of smaller drivers on “high end” speakers. Break-in period doesn’t seem to help that improve but they do seem to mellow a little. I originally tried these on a good sized amp with very low THD. This was in a large room with good separation and that’s probably where the speakers were more at home. It’s very nice clarity without being harsh as others have mentioned. You will hear details in the music you might not have heard before but I have found that true with a wide range of speakers. I also tried these on a small Sony bookshelf unit and have now switched back to the original speakers. That focused soundstage makes it seem as if the artist is playing in the room which is great unless it’s in the bedroom when I’m trying to go to sleep. Probably not a fair analysis since the original speakers seem to spread the sound good enough to begin with. I’ve read a lot about Klipsch since Best Buy started carrying them and wanted to know what the hype was about. If your receiver gives you an option to reduce the bass on these and compensate with a subwoofer I think that's where these will perform best. I got them on a Black Friday special and will definitely be keeping them. Four stars because the bass sensitivity and the soundstage may not be for everyone.

A good choice for a bookshelf speaker

Very good sound characteristics - full/robust for the relatively small size. These don't replace my high end Focal speakers for primary listening, but do a great job creating a good listening experience while working. I would definitely buy again, and the build quality is very good as well.
