    Overall great speaker

Best pair of speakers for less than $300. Very detailed sound and great range although they can be pretty harsh at the high end. I set mine up on a pioneer elite sc-71 and after playing around with the sound settings for a while they sound alot better than I had expected. I would give them a 5 star rating if they weren't so bright to begin with. I wouldn't recommend them if you have a Yamaha Aventage. Too bright.

Excellent as a surround or in multi-channel stereo

I have a full 7.1 system and these speakers are excellent used as the surround channels. When playing in a multi-channel stereo mode, they are terrific, and can hold up against the front which in my case are the R28Fs (10" woofers). If you're looking for a surround channel, or looking for a nice bookshelf speaker without spending a fortune, these are terrific. My 5-star rating is not an indication that they are superlative to all others -- it's a judgement based upon cost and value. Full price is still a good deal imo, the BF deal was just fantastic.

these small speakers are absolutely fantastic! the frequency response is great for such a little package. they wont rock the house with bass, but you shouldn't expect them to. for a home theatre system, with a sub-woofer, they will really surprise you!!!! if youre thinking about bookshelf speakers, by all means, give these a look... I don't think youll be disappointed!!!

Best front speakers for the bedroom you can buy

I have a killer man cave system so I bought a woman cave system for the bedroom for my wife. At the store I auditioned Klipsch vs. Polk, Sony, and some other speaker and Klipsch defeated them all convincingly in musical mortal combat. I have them paired with a Klipsch K-25C Center, Klipsch R-10SW, and a Pioneer VSX $199.00 receiver. The first day they were bright. 3 days later, they are warm and musical. My wife bought 10 Blue Ray movies she wanted to watch but never did in 4 months. She has watched 3 movies in one weekend after I bought this system. These speakers are accurate and can play loud! The Sub handles the low end so they don't need to play low bass. Watched "47 Ronin" and I heard every tingle during the sword fights and the sound during the musical transitions envelope the room and make it sound like I have surround speakers. The copper colored woofers look great also so I kept the grills off. My wife is now happy, that is worth every penny spent!!

    Wow! What a Difference

Super efficient. When testing several speakers at Bestbuy, these spike in volume. I have switch my listening preference from home threater back to listening to more album music in stereo. Swapped out old surround left, center and right for Klipsch. While my hearing is not as good as it use to be, this set up popped and was deep and full. Worth the investment.

These speakers are GREAT! We purchased two sets and have very pleased with them. A Subwoofer would be recommended for best sound spectrum.

Not so great alone, but with a sub, very good

For general TV watching in a smaller room, these will do nicely. I'm using them as my main stereo speakers along with a 200W subwoofer (I dislike surround, especially for music). They do tend to leave some holes in the midrange, but nothing a little EQing can't fix. I'm using them mostly for the upper mids and highs, and for that, they are very clear and clean. I'm not a purist, and I'm sure some people will dismiss them out of hand, but they're nice for the money - and small. I'd recommend them with the above caveats in mind.

    Crisp and Clear Sound

I use these speakers as my main front speakers. They produce crisp and clear sound without crackling or distortion (even at high volume). They were inexpensive (comparatively speaking) for the quality that you get. I would recommend these speakers to anyone who is looking for big sound on a smaller budget.

Very good, high sensitive bookshelf speakers

I would give my opinion on my selection of these speakers. I compared R-14M and R-15M. I want to use them as surrounds to R-26f fronts. Here's the feedback 1. R-15M is visibly more sensitive (loud) and bright. The difference is high. There is not much difference in the bass response. So you need to hear them to understand if you would like the brightness (high frequency response) 2. On Volume levels 14M matches with R-26f and 15M matches with R-28f. The matching continues for the sensitivity, brightness and the overall sonic response. 3. 15M is better built and pleasing, atleast from the speaker screw mounts and overall look. So if you have R-28f then you need to go with 15M. 15M is also the choice if you plan a standalone speaker (second zone). 15M can also handle more power. 4. I would like to have the high frequency response little smoother. If you cant tolerate bright speaker go with 14, otherwise 15M is good overall.

After setting up my surround system, I discovered that one of my existing surround speakers was blown. I saw these were on sale at the time and decided to get them. Good choice. Nice, rich surround. Perfect size. You won't be disappointed.

Bought these to replace an old set of Bose 301s and was blown away by the crisp clear sounds and deep base these created for a smaller driver. They also go to 11 and stay just as clean

I bought these speakers during Black Friday '15 and am extremely satisfied with my purchase. They have a very clear, crisp sound when paired with my receiver and record player. Very clean design and look to them. I will purchase many more audio items from Klipsch in the future.

I'm using these as rear speakers. They are awesome. When I listen to music, I change it to the all-channel stereo mode. They sound great. Crystal clear sound, no distortion at loud volume levels. But I don't turn them up to the point that they cause pain.
