I love Klipsch!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these speakers as part of the Black Friday sale for $124.99/pair. I guess I can't agree with the previous reviewer (bugman53). I think they have really good sound. I set mine up on the floor so the bass is decent, but I definitely didn't buy these for the bass. I own a bunch of other Klipsch speakers of the Reference II line and these are almost as good. These speakers have a nice sound with the vocals being in front of everything, which is the way I like to listen to music. I like the "slap you in the face" sound of the Klipsch horns. The tweeters are very clear and I know not everyone likes that sound, but I do. I was leery of the aluminum tweeter in these as the Reference II's have titanium tweeters, but I was not disappointed in the least. I would definitely recommend these speakers. I wouldn't pay $249.99/pair for them, but I could see spending up to $199.99/pair for them.

A lot of speaker in a pretty small package.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice clear sound with great bass. I was able to fill a very big room with just two speakers. To make it great, I added two more of the same type.

Good for low powered receivers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for a decent sounding speaker, do not want to break the bank and have a receiver that does not have too much power, then this speaker may suit you well. The sound is mostly nice, detailed, good bass and highs. Mid-range is clean, but a bit too forward in some areas. Still may be correctable via eq.

Perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have ATT U-Verse and Roku and do a LOT of movie watching whether HD or in 4K. I have a Denon AVR-910W, which drives everything. I recently replaced the front 5 Yr old JBL's with Klipisch R-15M's and their RP-250C. I also have a Yamaha 8" subwoofer and 2 JBL surrounds. The replacement Klipsch's have made movie sound MORE dynamic with superb dialog clarity/crispness. Long story short and to the point.

Great Sound, Great Looking
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a 2 way speaker, these sound fantastic. When buying my Klipsch surround system, the rear speakers that I wanted were sold out, so these speakers were recommended. I am glad the others were sold out. These speakers are so natural sounding and they match the style of my main towers. Couldn't be happier with the sound.

Amazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great as front speakers and surround. I recently bought floor speakers and it's an obvious difference, but these are amazing however you use them. 7 years old, multiple moves, still just as good as new.

Wow was I surprised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these on a lark for $125 during a BB sale and all I can say is WOW. These replaced my old Infinity Reference 3's as my front speakers for my great room 5.1 channel system. I'm no audiophile but the sound difference and quality are enormous. Very clear and very bright with great bass response. I almost don't need my sub. Very happy. Try them you won't be sorry.

Incredible Speakers especially for the price point
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have SVS Primes and Satellites and they are in the closet gathering dust because I got a set of these last Christmas. I don't know how they create such outstanding quality at such price points. Im fairly new to Klipsch, maybe 3 years. I own the 12 inch subs, 10 inch wireless sub, huge soundbar, bookshelf speakers. These bookshelves here for the price point are absolutely unbeatable. You would need spend 500 plus (SVS) to find others that have the same quality of sound as these ...I"ve never heard such clear highs, impressive mids, and the 12 inch subs are plenty low and hard hitting. The highs are not Splashy like many in this price range, its extremely realistic sounding, every drop of water, leaf on a tree, dialogue, its all incredible ….PLEASE BUY THESE if you want a 1000 dollar pair of sppeakers for less than???

Great speakers for surrounds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these to use as surrounds in my 5.1 setup. I am using these with Klipsch RF-62II mains, RC-62II center, SVS PB-2000 sub, with a Sony STR-DN 1050 AVR. They are very clear, not too bright and bring out the little hidden details in the surround sound. I replaced a set of Polk RTi4's that I was using as surrounds and these Klipsch speakers blow them away for clarity and detail in movies. I would recommend giving them a try, if they don't work out return them.

Great sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy these speakers as they have a good natural balance. Bass response is good pending their placement in the room and the size of the room. Little to no modifications were needed to my receivers graphic equalizer to get the sound I was looking for.

BEST VALUE ON THE MARKET
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Klipsch just makes better speakers than their competitors. The high-quality materials (esp. metals) make an extremely audible difference. I wish I had known about them before getting some of the other ones I have purchased in this price range.

Great Speakers for the Money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had compared these speakers with others from Polk, Sony and several others and they had the best sound for what they cost. I am a big fan of Polk, but these sound better.

GOOD SPEAKER
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this speaker. I got it on sale and I would recommend getting it on sale. It's a good speaker but I think it's a little over rated. Nice sound but not enough clarity from the tweeter (just my opinion). Sounds great when it's just the 2, but when you add a sub-woofer the highs are not enough....

Good speaker, slightly harsh treble
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked these speakers up as a black Friday special; they were a steal at $124. The speakers are well balanced - great bass for a 5 1/4" speaker (but not overwhelming), mid-range is clear. The high-end though is somewhat bright (some people might prefer this), but nudging the treble down helped. Another benefit of these speakers is that they are very sensitive - my 30 watt Topping TP22 amp is powerful enough to drive them as loud as I could possibly want in my medium-sized living room without any distortion. On the whole, very happy with this purchase.
