Was not impressed with the sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maybe it was because of the tuner but I was not impressed with the sound at all. Had to turn volume up half way just to get sound. Not at all better than the Sansui SPZ99 I had in the 80's. $900 for a pair of speakers is ridiculous.

Doesnt stand out well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well i bought all brand new speakers front center and rear bookshelf speakers and out of all of them the center does not stand out well. Gonna upgrade to a new reciever soon so well see how well it kicks out then.

Too bright...not for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this along with the 8" floor standing speakers. The highs were way too bright (almost piercing) to be able to enjoy this. Returned...

speaker needs right wire
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once I get it hooked up, I can evaluate it. The instructions are not very helpful. I had to wing it on the type of speaker wire to use. Best Buy does not seem to carry the correct wire for this speaker.

Not worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this speaker with big expectations. After hooking it up I did not notice any difference from the center channel speaker I already had. I took it back the next day. I was severely disappointed.

Maybe good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is good and bad. Good that it’s loud. Bad that it’s fuzzy and sounds muffled. Tried 3 different speakers and 2 receivers and all sounded the same

a bit weak - adjust levels
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this speaker doesn't sound as good for movies until you adjust levels higher than side speakers.

Surprise! timber is off from other front speakers.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. On a budget, mated two R-14 s for the rear surround, two R-15 s for the front, and the R-25C. The good, with this setup sub is mostly not needed. Bad, from the front center, front right and left, the tone is off like mismatched speakers . I was not expecting this at all. I did a ton of research before purchase. Because of this I have to wonder if a lower grade than A was sold to me. Further I am left stewing in anger when I watch anything and listen.

I can hear what the actors are saying!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own a Killer Man Cave system so I bought a woman cave system for the bedroom for my wife. She loves Blue ray movies and she bought 10 movies but she never watched them. So I bought this Klipsch Center, Klipsch R-15M bookshelves, Klipsch R-10SW, and a $199.00 Pioneer receiver. This Center speaker can play movie dialogue clearly! Bright sounding out of the box, but after three days it is now warm and musical. We can watch movies and hear what the actors are actually saying. Its small enough to fit inside every entertainment system. The copper woofers look great so I left the grills off. My wife is now watching movie after movie and that is worth every penny spent!!

Glad I Spent The Extra Money!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First things first: you just can't go wrong with Klipsch. I've owned several different models of Klipsch speakers over the years, and in my opinion, they make the best speakers in the business for the money. This center channel speaker is no different. I was looking at the Sony 4" center channel speaker because it was on sale. But after comparing it (and other more affordable speakers) to the Klipsch; well, there's really no comparison. The loudness and clarity of this speaker fills my living room with sound in ways that my old, departed center channel never could. I've watched several movies with friends since I installed this and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Do yourself a favor & spend the extra money - you won't be sorry!

5 stars but I am returning it....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First let me say this, it's a terrific speaker. I think it sounds better than almost every one I've heard before in this size and price range. I see it's on sale now even lower wow an even better deal. If you're thinking about buying this don't even worry about it, just get it and be happy. It matches the reference series. Extremely bright (but not too much), clear, strong, sounds terrific with music, movies, TV and keeps up and is mixed perfectly so that you always here the dialog. So why am I returning it? Because for a bit more, I purchased a RP250C and tested that out. It took me about 2 minutes to hear the difference...brighter, clearer, a bit stronger, much better low end response. So if you buy this, you're very, very happy. If you really are in to spending $200-$250 already, consider a small step up to the RP series on this one. The center is the most important sound channel for TV and movies. Just my 2c. I really can't downgrade the r25c as it's truly great also.
