Great Speakers....But.....

It's sad that they put all the investment in building a great speaker and give you absolute crap hardware to install them!!! I would have given 5 stars otherwise.

Good for mids and highs... not bass
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, yes sure these days they sort of expect you to buy a sub. However, I still had my 20 year old 3-way Sony speakers with 12" woofers... the woofers needed a "foam replacement" ...one of them was still ok enough, so I set up Left as Sony, Right as this dual 6.5 Klipsch. The Sony beat it... the Klipsch were a bit "louder" and slightly better at mids and highs. For overall sound though, the Sony won hands down. So... I bought a kit and re-foamed the 12" woofers on both of my Sony speakers and returned both of these Klipsch speakers ---- AND have better sound in doing so. Oh, also... my cost was $25 vs. $800 ... and, again the Sony 3-way 12's blew away these Klipsch.
