These sounded just fine: They get loud, you can hear stuff out of them, but for the money (even on sale at $199 each), they aren’t true “audiophile” performance levels. I returned them after testing them with movies, tv shows and music.

I've owned the previous version of the Reference line, and while those were good, these are considerably better from top to bottom. Way to go Klipsch!

These Klipsch Reference Series R-620F Dual 6-1/2" 400-Watt Passive 2-Way Floor Speakers are awesome! Flat out, amazing performance. Klipsch is a brand I’ve only recently come to know of, surprisingly, since they’ve been in the acoustic business for 70 years now. On the bottom of every piece of speaker equipment is the company’s logo, along with their ‘motto’ which reads - “Designed and engineered with pride in Indianapolis.” The Klipsch new Reference Series line of speakers has really impressed me. These are quite simply a quality product. Well-designed inside and out. You definitely get your money’s worth here. A few incredible features of these Klipsch floor speakers include: the 1-inch aluminum tweeter, which minimizes distortion; the two 6.5-inch spun-copper woofers which provide deep, vibrant bass; and from the square Klipsch ‘signature’ Tractrix horn flows clean, natural sound, filled with clarity and power. My own experience with the Klipsch Reference Series speaker system was in pairing them with an Onkyo Receiver. Setup went smoothly, for the most part, with time and effort spent arranging my new home theater components about the room to best effect. As for how these Klipsch speakers look ... well, no worries there. The black, textured, wood-grain vinyl exterior gives these speakers a modern, classy, ‘high-end’ appearance, along with being scratch-resistant. I’ll say it again ... I am really, really impressed. Overall, not just by the quality of workmanship, not merely by the ‘expensive’ look of the units themselves, but mostly, by the outstanding performance of these Klipsch R-620F floor speakers whose full, rich tones which will immerse you in layers of beautiful sound. I highly, highly recommend!!!

The sound is good but cmon? No bananas clips ? On a high end product like klipsch? And those generic plastic feet that don't exactly fit right wout breaking the screws. Klipsch has really fallen off in the last 7-8 years

Banana clips are possible with the R-620F speaker. On the tip of the binding post, there should be a small, plastic cap covering the banana plug hole. Remove this cap to access the banana inserts. klipsch

While this speaker might be good for home theater,it is not as good a performer with music. Step up to the Klipsch Reference Premiere series and you will be well rewarded, both in home theater and music applications.
