    Gripping Lyrical Artistry, Rending Composition

I will play track 12 until Miley Cyrus and Meghan Trainor's careers decompose in the filth of their weak-minded generic ooze. Yet again - Project 86 delivers on a scale so epic the masses will reject it wholeheartedly. You see, this isn't music for the mobocracy; this isn't the incessant drivel of "pop" or the failed attempts of modern rock to be meaningful and "sellable". This - this is art. This art is war. War is brutal; war makes you think - war drives you to action (whatever that action may be) and if you are the kind who, upon being violently subjected to the realities of the burning truth, slinks back into your closet gripping your collection of 'hits' murmuring silent appeals about wrecking balls and curvaceous women - THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS ALBUM. If you are courageous, however; if you are willing to appreciate art - all the time and honest self-reflection involved therein - YOU NEED THIS ALBUM. In reality - you need this Album and the first part of the Opus it completes: Picket Fence Cartel (the first assault), as well as Wait for the Siren (Opus pt 2: the awakening giant) and you need 6 hours with a pair of headphones. If you don't walk away from that experience changed, re-invigorated and pumping with adrenaline enough to start a revolution that would make Che Guevara crumble like the murderous coward he was - then you're welcome to give it to someone else.

As a long time fan of Project 86, I liked this CD too, but musically, I would not say I liked it as well as some of their other CDs. Perhaps not as much musical variety here as in some of their other CDs. The songs on the album tell a story as you listen, ending with the conclusion that the pursuit of a life goal of success leaves only the by-product of destruction, and does not satisfy. Only what was done for God matters in view of eternity. Preach the unpopular truth, brother.

If you love p86 you will no doubt recognize their signature sound on this album... Killer riffs and breakdowns as usual, but with a new dose of ruthless metal punch! Just buy it already!!

Project 86 always grabs me with their experimental mix of tones and gritty edgy riffs. This is an excellent album may take a few listens to get into.

I have liked this band since their second CD. This one is great, in my opinion. If you like the band this CD is worth it.
