This Kong is 100 ft tall!

But this version is a true colossus and I am very happy to see him presented this way. I don't want to say too much about the movie so as to not spoil anything but I will say this...if you're expecting to see the same Ann Darrow/Empire State story we've seen 3 times already and will be disappointed if this movie doesn't deliver that, then this movie is not for you. But if you want a new tale on the King and are ready for a different spin on his pure awesomeness, then pick this up. You will love it! Personally, and it's hard to admit this, but I think this might be my favorite Kong movie and I'm old school. Old school enough to say that the first King Kong from 1933 was the best monster movie of all time. Just my stupid opinion. But Kong Skull Island may have just taken the title. Judge me if you will but it's that good!
