Blu ray and case arrived in great condition. The movie was eh. If you watch it once you really don’t need to own it.

Loud, impressive motion capture, awesome visuals, but lacking in the story department. Wanted to love it, but it was a thin plot that killed this beast. Still worth checking out, but could have been great.

Lots of action and adventure, big Gorilla, pretty girl. But this time, the big guy does not have an affair with the girl and he remains at home. Worth watching though, for the adventure, CGI and great cast.

Its a Kong movie, not as dragged out as Peter Jackson’s, predictable and full of cliche’s, but if you like giant monsters, scared little humans getting picked off in different ways, you’ll like this one.

I liked the cast. I liked the look. Unfortunately, the story and characters are silly and laughable. If you are only interested in a cool looking movie go for it. Otherwise, I would have to say stay away.

Great way to intro us to the next installment...I hope (King King vs Godzilla). The story itself is okay. Why bomb an island you never seen before? Not a good way to introduce yourself to new surroundings.

I thought this movie was just okay, I guess that I've seen to many other King Kong movies to truly appreciate this one, it does have pretty good special effects but after that it just falls short of great.

Pleasantly surprised and was entertained. Almost had a "Heart of Darkness/Apocalypse Now" feeling later in the movie, but maybe because Samuel Jackson was in that too (listed as Sam Jackson in credits)

Not bad for a monster movie. King Kong looked too much like a man in a uniform versus a large gorilla. He should have been more like an animal like the previous King Kong movie featuring Naomi Watts.

This movie is just what I was looking for; mindless fun with monsters galore. Despite this fun, it's lacking in character development and the story is fairly thin, but it's overall popcorn entertainment

Since I am a diehard King Kong Fan, just wanted to add it to the collection. This one was done different from the others, were the ape lives at the end, good acting, Will there be a Skull Island 2?

Kong is King. A decent adaptation of the Kong series. As always, Sam Jackson adds some much needed flare to this movie. Special effects are decent. Monsters could have been a little more thought out.

not as great as everyone said it to be, my opinion they could of made it way better than what I just saw. I'm a Kong fan always been so I gave it a 3 out of five where I wanted to give this movie a 2

This is a decent movie. I would definitely recommend picking this up and adding it to your collection if you are into these sorts of movies. Make sure to watch through all the credits until the end.

It's short and not the best of the King Kong movies, but it's a nice prequel to the Monsterverse and a step in the right direction for anybody that thought Godzilla 2014 was too serious.

From the other King Kong movies this didn’t dwell on a love story between a woman and an ape. It added some new features and distractions but ultimately the same plot. Good watch regardless

Turn your mind off for the duration of this movie to enjoy it to the fullest. It is very entertaining once you lower expectations. John C. Reilly's character, alone, makes it a good watch!

Rated the movie 3 stars only because it was okay. kong was little bit large and the other prime mates looked fake like the spider with the long legs!!! Glad I didn't see it on the big screen

as with most stories that have been done to death, I think Hollywood needs to start creating new legends. having said that, this has a good cast, good action and a pretty decent story.

Visuals are great, obviously... it's 2017. The script is embarrassing, however, and the story doesn't warrant repeat viewings. Last 20 minutes are the only redeeming quality of this movie.
