Have been a "Kong" fan for a long time so I expected a lot out of this film. Unfortunately, if failed to deliver. While the special FX were great, the acting and story were just average.

This movie was entertaining but not something I am going to watch over and over again. It will be interesting to see what they do with Godzilla and Kong in the years to come.

same as every other movie. great while watching but when its over time to get back to the real world. im considering never buying a feature film again. full seasons are better.

This movie had great special effects but the plot was missing something. Hard for me to pin that down. Maybe it needed more interaction between the female character and Kong.

I thought it had great FX, but a sort of contrived storyline. No way an "army" could be that "un-smart" in dealing with a giant monster. It was basically-- a family movie.

Not as good as I was anticipating. But the end credits excited me! I hope they make a sequel with that special guest. Kong was an okay watch. It was meh like Tarzan was.

Kong Skull Island is a great movie if you want to watch non-stop action. The movie is not deep in storytelling and character development but is fun to watch nonetheless.

It's not the best king Kong movie, but hey, it has Samuel l. Jackson. Seriously though, it's a decent movie that just doesn't seem as good as it could have been.

Movie was entertaining, 3D could have been better and 4K doesn't look any different than a blu ray all it did was make my price for the movie $10 higher - Stupid

Great movie when bought at a discount! The original is usually best and that holds true in this case. Good action, little heart.

Special effects are worth the price (particularly since it was found in the cheap movie bin), however, story line is lacking.

I thought King Kong with Jack Black was a better movie, but this Kong movie is worthwhile and entertaining too. A worthy addition to the Kong movie history.

This movie was ok. Had some good action scenes. But they deviated from the original and I didn't care for that part. But it's a good not great movie to see.

Perhaps the weakest of the solo movies in the Monsterverse, but still enteraining.

Unlike it's predecessors Skull Island isn't a Hollywood fusion of romance, drama and action. Rather It's definitely a Monster flick through and through.

Wasn't dark enough for me, special effects were decent but if you dig PG movies you'll probably like it. Entertaining but could have been much more imo

Follows along with every other "Gorilla" movie out there. Nothing new,nothing exciting. Very good special effects, sound and cinematography though.

This movie has both the good and the bad. The parts with Kong are really good. The parts with just people in it do nothing to really help the story.

This movie is almost like a prequil to godzilla, mothra and the like. Very unique take on KONG, no empire state building in this one. Great in 4k

This movie has great effects but a weak story line. The previous Kong movie was a better movie due to it story line and very good to great effects.
