I rooted for Kong through the whole movie. I also enjoyed the creatures on Monster Island.

If you really like King Kong, then buy it, otherwise watch it from the redbox. Not too bad, but definitely could have been better.

Movie was just ok. I'm a huge Kong fan and couldn't wait for this movie to come out. Not much depth into Kong nor the characters.

Action packed but several stupid decisions for a so called elite military operation. Special effects are pretty good

This movie was kind of a let down. Must admit that my expectations were quite high though. Was a good movie but not great.

Legendary seems more interested in computer graphics than a fully fleshed out story. They need to get back to the basics of film making and stop trying to "WOW" us with digital images. The writing was in a word,awful. And the plot had more holes in it than leaky rowboat. A group of reasonably talented actors with absolutely nothing to work with. And image wise the 4K transfer was just mediocre.

AVG acting and script. All about effects and nothing much else. Very predictable.

Watching this movie in 3D made it worth watching the whole movie. Without 3D, not sure I would have bought this movie.

It has great special effects but the story line was aweful. One characters acting was horrible and totally not needed.

This movie has some astounding graphics and cinematography, however the plot and character development is lacking.

If you love movies and just want something to fill a slot or add to your collection. Here you go....

Way too many "new" monsters...Really distract from any plot that would have developed. Sorry but not a classic...
