Could have kept my money. One of the worst movies i have ever seen

This is the best Kong yet great story line and monsters love it!!

This movie was not what we expected not as good as the original

Poor attempt at an old classic. Wait for it to be on tv.

So I've been a fan of King Kong since I was a kid. I got King Kong Vs Godzilla for my 10th birthday and watched it 3 x in a row the day i got it. This is easily the best King Kong film. Unlike the other Kong movies, it doesn't take forever for Kong to make an appearance and he's in the movie a lot. The story is great and the action scenes are brilliant. 4k HDR looks simply stunning as well. Must own and demo worthy movie.

If you like to see big monsters fighting, this is the movie for you. The story line is not as good as the original, but it’s ok. It is auctioned packed with gigantic monsters fighting. Picture quality: is stellar... one of the best to date. Sound quality: is superb with Dolby Atmos... this that keeps has good use of surround channels, Height effects, and superb low end bass.

This movie has a great cast of characters and makes the kong movie from years ago look like trash. I recommend having a 4k hdr tv and 4k blu ray player to really enjoy this movie how it was intended.

This movie does a great job as focusing on the action without getting into any sappy long drawn out 'Female in Distress' garbage. Don't expect deep character developments and that's fine. This movie goes into the best part of the KONG story and kicks it into overdrive. What is delivered is just the right mix that takes the viewer on a great rollercoaster ride with some very intense camera-action scenes. Plenty of explosions, Monster fights and a few more surprises along with a gritty-war1970's Rock'n'Roll (and yes, comedy) swerve that all works together to make a great action flick with top-shelf CGI special effects. I don't want to give too much else away.

I guess I should be grateful that Warner put this out in 3D at all, given the industry's current desire to kill it with lousy marketing and making it as hard to find as possible. None of the Best Buy stores in my area had it in stock but I tracked it down elsewhere and watched it right away. The 3D is great and seems like the movie would lose a lot without it! However the included 2D version includes a Dolby Atmos sound mix which ISN'T included on the 3D version, although the opening Warner Home Video logo IS in Atmos on that! The 5.1 mix is still pretty good but I feel a bit cheated to have it on the 2D disc but not the 3D. The 3D disc is also included in the Best Buy exclusive set which also has the useless 4K disc (higher resolution picture but NOT 3D, making it a half-baked format I have little interest in) but that's already sold out in my area. If you haven't seen KONG in 3D, then you haven't seen it!

saw this at the movies when it came out injoyed it very much hope theres more parts of this franchise coming out in the future.skull island 2 would be cool.

An extremely entertaining thrill ride! Kong Skull Island is mindless fun! It felt like Jurassic Park which I thought was a really smart move. Great action and incredible vfxs that must be seen on the biggest screen and watching it in 4k is truly amazing!

I LOVED this movie! One of my favorites of the year! They told the Kong story in a new unique way. It was a visual stunner in both 3D & 4K, but I enjoyed the 3D the most. It was definitely made with 3D in mind. Amazing soundtrack to boot! It was a huge hit within my whole family.

The 4K here was good. Not great but good. Detail is great though. There are better 4K transers out there but if you don't eyeball it too close you'll be fine. Plot -wise it is what it is..but an above average movie for it's kind. Kong looked great !

This was a good movie with effects that were really bought to life! The story line is easy to follow with a cast that made you stay glued to it just to see how it would end. Humor, Suspense, Action and Drama were rolled into this with ease. You'll enjoy!

I would recommend this movie to all my friends and everyone else one of the best King Kong movies since in a long time that I have seen very good awesome graphics

Kong Skull Island is a fun popcorn flick with awesome Picture and sound quality. The 4K version is slightly sharper, but not worth the extra cash in my opinion.

Awesome movie! The 3D was very immersive and added to the experience! The price is unreasonably high, but if you are a 3D fan then wait for a lower price.
