Really enjoyed this movie for what it is. Good summer monster movie. Visually impressive as well. Fits well on its own but also as part of the bigger picture with being in same movie universe as the new Godzilla movie. Looking forward to what comes next.

This is a really good film, new version of an old film.

The original Kong was good for its day and this Kong is better today. The Beauty and the Beast aspect was preserved, but beauty didn't kill this beast. This Kong had a purpose beyond just saving beauty, he protected his environment. May we protect ours.

Anyone who is a King Kong fan would be doing themselves a disservice by not buying this movie! I think it's one of the best, if not THE best Kong movie out there! Although the original started it all, this movie far surpasses any that has come after!

First off, the visual designers received recognition during the opening credits, and they deserved it. A lot of monsters, interesting characters/deaths. Kong was done justice.

I'm a huge fan of kaiju movies, so I had an idea what to expect when going in. This was better than I expected. Plenty of great action and giant monster battles. I'm super excited to see how they continue this franchise with all of the monsters.

A awesome take on king kong, I like it more than the other story of going to an island and bringing him back to New York. The visuals of the island and creatures are spectacular, and king kong is a walking sky scrapper. Could not recommend it enough.

It was a great beginning, but the movie quickly fizzled.

I wasn't too excited about this movie when it was announced. I was pleasantly surprised. The movie is terrific, the clichès are well placed and not too much. There are a lot of special features and they're included when you put the code in for VUDU.

I don't know who asked Hollywood to do yet another remake of the King Kong franchise- certainly it was not me- however, this movie does stand on its own. Kong: Skull Island is not one of the best movies of 2017 but it is a decent action/adventure movie and visually looks good on a big screen.

The movie was amazing and kept me busy wondering what was coming next. Fights are the best part about watching this movie. I have loved king kong ever since he rolled over and knocked himself out in a fight against godzilla. Cant wait for the remake.

I love this movie when me and my brother first saw this when it came out, we had no idea it had a connection to Godzilla!!! ok kinda but it was cool to see how the name of the team that went to the island were the same name of the team in Godzilla :D

This was a gift for a family member that loves King Kong.

KONG: SKULL ISLAND IS A GREAT ACTION MOVIE. I HIGHLY ADVISE GETTING IT. MY SON ENJOYED AT THE THEATER SO MUCH THAT HE COULD NOT WAIT FOR ME TO BUY IT. 4K EDITION IS A PLEASANT WATCH. IT IS NICE TO KNOW THAT THERE WILL OTHER MONSTER MOVIES TO FOLLOW.

I found the king film better than most of th king films. It's very exciting when the men have to get to safety before the ship waiting for them to take them back home. The men and woman trying to escape was real exciting. Film well done

Finally a King Kong movie that is not a remake. Don't get me wrong. I enjoy every remake. But it is nice to see a different story. Kong is beefing up to take on Godzilla. I'm ready for more.

Just installed a brand new B&W bolstered true Dolby Atmos surround system....this movie is amazing to watch with the 4K and Atmos system. You feel like the helecopters are actually flying over you. Also the movie itself was a really good movie.

I rarely go to the theaters, but this one seemed a worthy gamble. And not only was it, it harkens back to my youth and seeing Jurassic Park, the spectacle is there, but so is the mystery and awe that made me want to dig deeper into Skull Island.

I had already purchased the 4k Blu-Ray version of this and liked it, and wondered what the 3D format would look like. This movie was made for 3D! Excellent graphics makes this a must see - you'll be glad to have this movie in your collection.
