It is a different take on Kong but still a solid and exciting adventure and Kong is very well showcased in this movie. While we do not get to see a bit more depth regarding Kong's background as was done in the Peter Jackson version, this is still a welcome addition to Kong's film legacy.

I was looking forward to seeing this movie, but my wife was skeptical. After watching, she admitted that she found it to be enjoyable and now we both are looking forward to the movies that will be coming in the following years in the "Monsterverse"

I have my doubts about this movie when I saw the previews and the pictures of Kong but once I took the ride I was very pleased the soundtrack it's something that stood out to me John c Reilly is a treat and the CGI is incredible

Kong: Skull Island, sets the tone for a tale that has become quite classic. Those venturing to this island seeking answers get all that and more! There appears to be a sequel in the works. Brie Larson and Samuel Jackson star as King Kong rages on!

The film itself is great. Good action, a decent plot, great effects and not a bad underlying commentary too. As far blockbusters go, it had some solid behind-the-scenes features as well. From visual effects to the ideas that went into the film.

This is a great package because it includes the 4K, 3D, 2D and Digital Copy. Can't go wrong with that. The 4K is not a significant upgrade over the HD bluray. But if you are a steelbook collector, it is worth it because you get all possible formats of the movie. Movie is also very entertaining.

Good movie but not great, for sure worth giving a watch

Gal Gadot bring the fierce into princess Diana role very well as Wonder Woman. It amaze me how her approach throughout the movie was, and my goodness it was satisfying to see along with a sequel to come after it definitely will see and owned.

When I first started watching the movie I didn't expect that I would see it two more times in the theatre. I underestimated how much I would love this movie. End credit scene knocked my socks off. And the extra content on the disc is really cool

This was a great movie. Even better in 4k. It's not your typical KONG story. I loved it. My favorite King King movie of all. Tom Hiddleston,Bri Larson,John Goodman all did a great job. But especially liked Samuel Jackson. Awesome Movie. A Must See

This famous gorilla now goes to the world of the 2014 Godzilla. In many ways, this movie is a prequel. Look for the clues and enjoy the whole new twist in the universe as well as new monsters that threaten the human race and those that defend us.

This is a fun throwback adventure to the old fashion monster movies of the past. The effects are excellent and it's got some amazing action scenes. Some characters are a bit one note while John C Reily stands out from the pack. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves the past iterations of Kong.

I love this movie in 4k the colors are warm and the detail on kong .and the other characters are really highlighted in this version of the movie, and the dolby atmos is kicking.

Ok. I liked Kong Skull Island much more than the average viewer. I like it when a movie just gets to it after a good cast intro. It was loud colorful n fun and 10X more so in 4k When I watch peter Jacksons Kong I skip to 50 mins in. Not so here.

This movie is so much more fun than the last King Kong movie by Peter Jackson. This movie is more like the original fun movie. You feel sorry for Kong because he is the True Hero of this Movie. I Hope your family enjoys it as much as Mine did.

I'm a fan of movies that don't require much thought and offer plenty of eye candy. This hits all the marks. Gorgeous in 4K, sound is wonderful. Something left to be desired from acting at times, but that's not why you're considering this movie.

The 3D depth in this movie is gorgeous. I have the 4K version as well. But I will prefer to watch it in 3D because of the realism that it offers

Kong is back and bigger than ever. Great spfx, nice extra features on the blu ray... I usually only buy movies that I've seen in the theatre as I'm a soecial features geek. KONG DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! BTW, if your a fan of History Alone alot of the exteriors were filmed on Van Couver Island.

Hats off to this new perspective on a classic tale. Nicely thought through. The 3D presentation is excellent with colors, clarity and depth in abundance. As well as a few in-your-face shots. Cudos to WB, again, for providing a UHD Digital redemption with my 4K purchase! Highly recommended!

I thought that this was the best version of Kong. Great action, great monsters, and great fight scenes. I wish it had been more monsters to fight, but I guess they're waiting to put that in the next movie within that universe. AWESOME MOVIE!!!
