Really enjoyed this movie. Good acting, special effects, story line & so glad I could get it in 3-D. It made it so much better. Wasn't sure if 4K would work on my TV, but it did & the 3D was wonderful. Keep the 3D DVDs coming.

The movie is excellent! Samuel Jackson was a hit! The skull crunch monsters look like something out of a Tim Burton film! I think the special effects team could of done a better job with their design. Overall, a great movie.

Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Tom Hiddleston, and one big hairy ape. Don't expect Oscar-worthy drama and subtle themes. We are here to see big monsters fight each other, and little people trying to avoid getting squished in between. This film delivers that in spades.

Honestly think this was better than the Peter Jackson's version some years ago. I realize that was meant to pay homage to the classic King Kong story. This is a different take. The action is good. The CGI is fantastic (but now a days most of it is). I enjoyed the movie.

I was so happy when I heard they were making another Kong movie and that it would be connected to the Godzilla franchise. I was even happier when it turned out to be a well done movie, good plot, good acting and goo action.

I initially was attracted to this title because of the cast - Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, and John Goodman among others. This movie far exceeded my expectations, though, and breathed new life into the Kong story!

"Kong" is a solid action adventure movie featuring an ensemble cast -- not to mention the namesake gorilla. I was pleasantly surprised the movie plot deviated in some ways from the tragic arc we have come to expect in the classic remakes of prior King Kong movies.

So sweet. Love the picture and sound crystal clear its like looking through a window at the action outside. Be nice if it was an Itunes download and not the goofyass digital copy online, yes I download to watch without wifi.

stunning cgi effects in this adaptation in the king kong remake.while Samuel Jackson was very over the top as a unlikeable person the great action and beautiful cgi made this movie a great start for the coming monsterverse

This is a fun and exhilarating movie that comes packaged quite nicely! I was looking for the 3D version of this and was pleasantly surprised to find it along with the 4K disc AND in the steelbook. Great combo pack for sure!

Super good movie, wish it had a digital copy as well(it does not have a digital copy) but for only $8 not bad at all! Awesome movie!

After countless remakes we finally got a Kong movie where the action is solid and it's the beginning of the Monsterverse series that'll lead to a crossover between him and a certain King of the Monsters. Highly Recommended.

This is a great movie, watched it with my family and it didn’t dissapointed. It’s full of action and that’s what I was looking for. If you are looking for a movie to keep you entretained, “Kong” is a great option.

Always facinated with myth of King Kong. This movie just adds to that myth. The story was okay and the movie entertaining. If you like movies and interested in the whole King Kong mythology. This is the movie for you.

Kong Skull Island is my family's introduction to 4K.We haven't yet purchased a 4K Player yet but recently got an X Box which also plays 4K. The film looked great! I know we'll be heading to Best Buy soon to get a 4K player

A little skeptical about purchase at the beginning, but glad I pushed the buy button. This had a good cast, the plot was good, just a little different twist on past Kong movies...no capture and take back for display.

Saw parts of the movie over someones shoulder during a plane flight. Waited for the price to come down on the 2 disc and digital copy. A great and interesting story which man has to know his limitation. Must see movie.

Had to laugh when my 14 year old turned to me and said, "I think that's the first movie I've ever seen when I wished Samuel L Jacksons character would die". Too funny. Loved the movie, will definitely watch over and over.

With Godzilla coming out a couple of years ago, it was a matter of time before they made a universe of giant monsters. This isn't a great movie (the armed forces are apparently idiots), but it is a fun movie to watch. Wait for it to be on sale before purchasing
