I love the old kong movies but this one knocked it out of the park. Great cast and amazing CGI. I recommend this movie.

Every year we need 1 movie that keeps us at the edge of our seats and this is the movie. The graphics are masterfully done while the actors deliver on convincing us that the monsters are real.

it took me a while to actually see this, and now i'm kicking myself that it did. it's great seeing Kong return to his former glory and set up perfectly for a fight with other iconic monsters.

Most critics missed the boat on this one -- it's one of the most imaginative fantasy films of recent years, and especially effective in 3D if you're fortunate enough to have a home 3D system.

I've always been into monster movies. After the success of the latest Godzilla, I was curious about the new Kong. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Looking forward to more in the shared universe.

Regular price $27.99, purchased at $24.99 (the discounted price for the first week of release. Most 1st week release are at $19.99 in my experience but since it came with a digital copy I was willing to pay the price, though the packaging or the online description did not specify what type of digital I thought it would for both UV and iTune but to my disappointment only UV download was available. I would not have purchased it if I had known and would have rented it instead. As for the movie, it was ok. I like that the story was different from previous King Kong movie and that he's not chasing after a human girl. I would recommend to rent, but not to buy.

A good version of Kong. Brie Larson id excellent as is Samuel Jackson. Excellent sound in ATMOS and great visuals in 4K

DVD came in good condition and came 4 days earlier than expected. Amazing CGI. But story isn’t that captivated and not as much scenes with the human characters with Kong as I was hoping for.

A good representation of the King Kong story. The actors seemed to be having fun, which is always a plus! An enjoyable couple of hours, for sure.

I've seen this movie about 4 times now. I just upgraded my home theater to 4K. I purchased the movie in $K and it's so much better than regular Blu-Ray. The picture and sound...Amazing!

Well you don't expect too much of a surprise when watching monster movies. With that being said, Skull Island had a nice twist here and there and the special effects were great. What else can you ask for? Waiting on Godzilla now!

This was a great movie to buy in 4K. The pictures, special effects were top notch. I enjoyed the action scenes and plot in general. I just wish I had nicer speakers to complete the experience.

This movie is amazing non stop action love kong in this movie fight sense are great can't wait for the the next and see kong meet up with Godzilla I still watch the old school ones for the 80's

I loved this movie I thought they did a great job with how they made kong the story was very interesting it's definitely a great monster movie. & the artwork on the steelbook is really cool to.

This movie kept my interest all the way through great 3-D and was pleasantly surprised Looking for action from beginning to end this is the movie for you. Grap your popcorn and enjoy the movie.

This is the middle movie in the Godzilla trilogy. It sets up the giant monster mix up in the next one. Kong is great and truly the star of this show. The characters are secondary which is fine.

I loved this movie, having seen it while it was in the theaters. If you're a giant monster movie fan and of course a King Kong fan then you'll like this movie I think. I liked it even more than the Godzilla movie from a couple years ago. This is supposed to be in the same monster "universe" and helps to set up other giant monster movies to come. The only thing I HATE about this movie and the steel book is the RIDICULOUS price that they asked for it. $35!!!! Plus tax! Are you kidding me Bestbuy??!! Other steelbook movies I've purchased recently in 4K were only in the $25 range! I recommend it based on the movie, but thumbs down for the price!

The supersizing of Kong is great and the apocalypse now tip of the hat filmography is compelling. This is a must in 4K and the 7.1 surround sound make this and Pacific Rim the best in class.
