I loved this movie, having seen it while it was in the theaters. If you're a giant monster movie fan and of course a King Kong fan then you'll like this movie I think. I liked it even more than the Godzilla movie from a couple years ago. This is supposed to be in the same monster "universe" and helps to set up other giant monster movies to come. The only thing I HATE about this movie and the steel book is the RIDICULOUS price that they asked for it. $35!!!! Plus tax! Are you kidding me Bestbuy??!! Other steelbook movies I've purchased recently in 4K were only in the $25 range! I recommend it based on the movie, but thumbs down for the price!

This is an awesome package containing every version of the film. A fantastic value on an exciting well-done movie. Best Buy keeps putting together great exclusive steelbook offers. Keep it up!

What's not to like here? Great audio and stellar image transfers, all with a story that is fun - and one that serves as a setup to a matchup against another iconic movie beast.

Good movie. Packed good. 4K is the best and only way to see monster movies like this. Recommend for all those who love monster movies.

I enjoy these kind of movies. The acting is good & it's got lots of action which I love. It's worth buying & to me is better than the other King Kong or King Kong type movies.

The supersizing of Kong is great and the apocalypse now tip of the hat filmography is compelling. This is a must in 4K and the 7.1 surround sound make this and Pacific Rim the best in class.

And should not be killed off. I had to travel 20 miles from one Best Buy store to another just to get a last copy of this the week it came out. That's ridiculous. You sold us 3d TVS Best Buy. So please sell us 3d blurays in store!.

One name: Samuel L. Jackson! Tom Hiddleston did a great job as well. I thought this ‘Kong’ tale is an intriguing take on an old tale. I am excited that this movie is going to be an introduction to a bigger ‘cinematic universe.’

I have seen every "King Kong" movie made and I must say this was quite different. The other prehistoric animals were unique. Even so, it kept my attention and the storyline was a bit unusual.

Finally a solid King Kong movie with out him messing up a city. This movie was full of solid action, great special effects and a story line that was funny and surprising all at the same time.

Nice monster fantasy movie! Really brought out the kid in me when watching this. I wish there would have been more monsters to encounter in the movie, but that's the greedy kid in me.

This movie has the biggest Kong ever put on film. Yes, the characters are slightly under developed, but it make up for it by the spectacular special effects and the mega size monster action.

Beautiful may not be a word one would use to describe King Kong, but the crisp and clear picture with this 4K disc is amazing! The price was right, and the picture quality can’t be beat.

This movie is really good for what it is as a monster movie. Just a lot of fun. And it does come with a DVD and digital copy as well.

Man bad, Ape good! Sound familiar? Well he may not be taking over the world like his cousins, but he is definitely saving it from itself!! Great action flick with awesome actors. Go Cubs!!!

It is a shame 3D is being forced out of Hollywood- this is a perfect example of why 3D is enjoyable - I wouldn't call it reference quality but watching King Kong in 3D is the best way imo.

I love the movie!! Yes, it's a bit hokey but the action and soundtrack are great! A great addition to the King Kong series. And, yes, I do like every Kong movie, including the cheesy old ones. This movie does not disappoint.

I enjoyed this take on king Kong, it immersed you in a new world that didn't take 3 hours to culminate. The transfer was great, the HDR was a color popping powerhouse all around

Big fan of all the monster movies and they did a great job on this. You get to see plenty of Kong action right from the start. Have not watched 4k version yet, but HD looks really good.
