King Kong is one of my child hood favorites. I enjoyed sitting down with the family and watching this new version of the story. Monsters looked realistic and the graphics were spectacular.

John C. Reilly steals every scene he's in, but the big show is the OTHER denizens of the island - just like the original King Kong. Pretty good movie, far outshines "Godzilla", though they are set to meet up in future films.

Great sci-fi movie. Enjoyed all the King Kong movies and especially this one. Just when you think another Kong movie, how good can it be? We'll, it was great. The storyline was very good.

I collect the Kong movies from 1933 on. I have updated any of them that come out in blu-ray. Blu-ray brings out the hairs on the skin. If you are a Kong fan, you need this in your library.

Forget the other King Kong movies, this is the best King Kong movie remake thus far. The action is intense, with a fresh, new believable plot & acting. A definite must own and must see!!!!

This was a great buy! Image quality is amazing with great use of HDR and deep dark black levels. The dolby atmos track is also reference quality with deep bass throughout. It's a must buy!

Hadn't heard much about this movie before hand, but it looked interesting. Was well worth watching. Story line moved right along, alot of action. Well worth watching and glad we bought it.

Another remake of the same story. I found one main character's acting and story line completely unnecessary and wished he had been left out of the entire movie. Other than that it was action packed and wonderful special effects.

I don't know if it's a remake but it's more hardcore action and not to mention US soldiers are present on this movie. It takes place on the Vietnam era awesome music played in the movie.

Very original story, but like a lot of military movies, the military always seem to forget their training and proper use of their equipment when the first thing goes horribly wrong. I hate that, but liked the movie anyway.

Probably the best Kong Movie I have seen. I have seen them all, this one is the lead in for what looks like a string of future "Monster?" Movies. Watch the end credits to see what I mean.

I really liked the look of the steelbook and the matte finish that it has. The artwork on the front is perfect and the colors used really make it pop. This is a definite favorite of mine.

This was much, much better than I thought it would be. The story was great, the visuals were great, and over all it was a fantastic movie. I will give this hint, watch until the very end!

Good Steelbook package. Unfortunately as usual BB only orders a limited production run so good luck finding it at this point. Be prepared to pay the scalpers on eBay if you must have it.

I opted for the Blu-Ray because the 4K reviews didn't get very much praise. This movie is a lot of fun and the Atmos Sound delivers. It was on sale for $14 which is a STEAL. Thanks BB!

This movie isn't perfect but it his must of what you want. Great sounds, great CGI, with lots of action, and even humor. Well acted and a bit over the top making it a fun summer movie.

Great cast. Has a blend of fantasy, adventure, comedy and special effects that make for great entertainment. Watch it on the largest TV you have for an immersive visual experience.

This movie is set in the outdoors as all good summer movies. The plot is action packed from beginning to end, and should keep you on the edge of your seat for the duration of the movie.

In the string or reboots on Kong. This is the best. It can't hold a candle to the original. But there are some good thrills to be had here - and some good fun, too. The giant spider needed - Run through the Jungle as it's song

If you enjoy this type of movie, it has a decent story line and is entertaining. Great picture and sound.
