Great entry into the Kong mythos - Excellent action - looks good in 3D, but not the best 3D I have seen - 4K version included in package also - so it is you viewing choice. The question is how will Kong handle Godzilla!

New take on a classic, with a "LOST" kinda twist. Did not expect much, just needed a new movie for "Movie Night", and was pleasantly surprised, love the Monarch addition as well...

I loved King Kong when I was little and this movie is a great addition to the legend! Great action, awesome picture, and some surprises await!

Definitely a great action movie. Many twists and surprises throughout the film. Great summer fun movie. Make sure you watch to the end of the credits for a glimpse of the next one.

a bit extreme and about 30 min too long. 4k ultra HD was as advertised; also advertised on the cover packaging sleeve as Dolby Atmos sound but it is only coming through as DTS:HD --- sounded pretty good nonetheless.

This movie is chock full of interesting adventures and will keep you entertained throughout. I wanted to see it at the theater but settled for watching it on blue ray with surround sound and it doesn't let you down.

Very good Picture and Sound but will Sound a lot better if you have Surround Sound

I enjoy the King Kong story This version with its twists & subplot was not what I expected Loved the action Loved the bad "good guy" Samuel L. Jackson steals this entire movie

The movie is a ok movie but the special effects and the soundtrack make it a better movie. It was fun to watch. The surround sound with the helicopters and all the battles made my sub work for it money. Worth the cash.

This movie knows exactly what it is from the start: a big budget monster/horror b-movie. It oozes charm, though, and gives Kong a lot of respect throughout. It's just as weird as it is adventurous, which I appreciated.

No spoiler here- it's about King Kong. In an era of remakes, a good remake from a different point of view. Enjoyed the action, decent script which avoided many of the cliches that often occur in remakes. Fun to watch.

Really enjoyed the music in the movie.The time period is 1973. The end of Vietnam Conflict. It is good entertainment. I am glad it was brought out in 3D, the same as the theaters.

Sci-Fi Action. As expected the unexpected happens. Nice cinematography, lots of action sequences and there's what you know and what you don't know about an island you've only heard rumors about. Could watch again.

This movie looks great on Blu-ray! The story seems light, but the action makes it a great Popcorn flick. If you like giant monster movies like Godzilla then you will enjoy this.

If you like this genre of movies, you'll love this one. The special effects and the action to show them off are great. The story line is weak and characters are very stereotyped but that is typical for this genre.

I love action/adventure movies and this one gets my two thumbs up. This movie is fun to watch, it's never dull, and I recommend it to anyone who loves monster movies (Kong fans).

Very pleasantly surprised by this movie. Purchased it in the 4kUHD and loved how great the picture color and clarity was. Also loved the sound with our Dolby Atmos bar. So Great.

Different spin on an old classic. Great way to bring out the big monster in his natural habitat, but keeps all the classic elements of King Kong. Can't wait for the next chapter.

I loved this movie. It does away with some of the other King Kong movies by focusing on the 70s and it never makes it to New York. Soundtrack was fantastic and so was the CG.

Movie was awesome. They definitely left it open for a prequel and a sequel which I think was really smart. Lots of good action and didn't fall into the typical character traps. Was not as predictable as I had thought.
