The critics didn’t like this movie much, but I really thought it was pretty well done! I really enjoyed the 2005 version as well but this was a good twist on the story.

What an awesome movie , the ending of this movie will give away an awesome surprise , watch till the end , the visuals and story of this movie are phenomenal! A must have!

This wasn’t your typical King Kong movie. It actually had some good humor in it with a good mix of action. My expectations weren’t very high but it met expectations and was overall an entertaining movie.

This movie is a great example of how a classic can be updated almost perfectly. Plenty of monsters and fights. Funny moments mixed in help make this a very enjoyable movie.

I bought this because it was only available at Best Buy to get both the 4k and 3D combo for one price. I hope they continue this trend because I will buy it again and again.

The movie ran smoothly and played out like a old adventure movie from back in the day. Loved the setup for the showdown with Godzilla coming up. The cast did a great job although not really memorable. Great buy!

It was not what I thought it would be like but a new twist .Kept me interested in what would happen next. Good action .I need to watch again to see what I might have missed.

Super enjoyed this flick! I cant wait for Kong to fight Godzilla. Either way, this movie a nice build up to that film. A definitely must own for any movie lover. Thumbs up!

Enjoyed way more than the King Kong movie that came out years ago with Naomi Watts. The visual displays of the creatures and the audio were reference quality all the way

I didn't see this movie until it hit DVD and it was worth the wait.It was very action packed and the music was great as well. I wonder will it be a part 2 Kong lived on.

One of those movies that doesn't get old. Most important is that it looks great on my 4k. Sometimes I like to have a movie on in the background and this one does the trick!

Kong Skull Island has a great cast. The movie is excellent in 4k. I remember how good the first Kong movie was. I love Samuel Jackson in just about anything. I was pleasd to add this movie tomy 4k library.

this is a incredible leed up to the original classic King Kong vs. Godzilla..! it was an action packed adventure into Skull Island, highly recommended for Kong fans..!!!

The movie is great! The action the turning point the usual of Kong being able to understand one of the main characters is amazing! Would recommend for Sci-Fi lovers!

I liked that this went back to just after the Vietnam War, and broke from the tradition of bringing Kong to civilization. The cast was amazing, as were the special effects.

Definitely a must see for those who have seen all the previous Kong movies including the 1933 classic. Saw this in theaters and appreciated the early 70s timeframe. Watched several times and see more each time.

Samuel l Jackson is captain Ahab and Kong is his Moby Dick but larger. The special effects are outstanding in this movie.

This was an excellent movie. Special-effects were fantastic and I love the storyline twist. Not the typical Kong story so it was very enjoyable. Highly recommend this movie

Having seen all past King Kong films (1933, Jessica Lange/Jeff Bridges, Jack Black/Naomi Watts versions) I didn't expect much from the new film. The special effects were very good and made it an enjoyable film.

Good quality movie and the 3D view is great. Bad thing is you can't get this movies in stock , you can't even special order , sadly they no longer sell 3 D movies in stock
