Not a deep story and it doesn't need to be. The movie is fun. Enough to warrant a buy. Plus the steelbook itself is very nice.

skull island approaches the story of king kong from a different angle some see him as a threat others as a allay, entertaining but not for children.

My seven year old begged me to get this and I’m so glad we did! Great story and performances. Can’t wait for the next one!

Wasn't to into the king kong movie universe after the last movie, but this one is well worth the price. Nice and clear picture and audio is on point.
