I never saw this in theaters and was pleasantly surprised that this was so good! sound is amazing and crisp as is the level of detail in the picture.

Awesome movie of course Samuel L Jackson was awesome. Very well done and ties in very well for next next Godzilla movie and King Kong vs Godzilla movie.

In view of the different versions of this movie, I would say this is one of the best. Good special effects, the set up believable. The actors very good.

I had seen this movie in IMAX and it was an awesome flick. The sound was incredible and so is the 4k disc in Dolby Atmos. I enjoyed this movie again.

Even though we all know how the story ends it was great to see a movie about Kong on Skull Island. Great special effects and story line. Two thumbs up.

Action ape fun family film for all ages & a must see for Kong fans who always wanted to see more of skull island and the beasts there where Kong lives.

I really like this version of King Kong. Finally there is a good balance of action and story line. I don't think 15 minutes goes by without Kong in it.

Kong is a solid action/adventure film. Great cinematography. First in new monster film series. Godzilla is up next and will tie in to this movie so if you enjoy this genre, step on board.

I did not have high expectations for this movie afterall, how many king kong movies can Hollywood make. Still, the action was good enough to push my entertainment room to a place i enjoy.

Movie was fun and a good addition to the monsterverse with Godzilla. Can't wait till they fight in 2020! Steelbook packaging is awesome and I hope they make more like it for other movies.

Great movie, better than expected. Especially in 4K HDR. Between the 4k and a very capable home theater with Atmos, this is great entertainment. The sound and image qualities are amazing.

Thought this movie was way better than Kong more impact and more Kong attacking the creatures of the island. Samuel Jackson was very good in this movie

Great Kong action movie, was expecting more as I took the Kong ride at Universal Studios way before the movie came out. Great intro to the next installment: Godzilla King of Monsters.

Love all the elements that's going on in this movie from start to finish and the 4K just makes it look that much better

As a life-long Kong and giant monster movie fan, this film does not disappoint! The 4k UHD disc looks and sounds fantastic! Highly recommended!

With many bows to Apocolypse Now, this was as much a movie about the human experience as it was about the big guy. Watch it and you'll see what I mean!

I saw this movie in the theater and I never get tired of watching it. This movie will get you ready for Kong's anticipated battle with his nemesis.

I had high expectations for this movie, and while it was pretty good, I was slightly disappointed. Great cast and story telling, but I felt like it was missing something. Not sure what.

I came to the store to get another movie and saw this one and couldn't resist getting it too. Loved it in the theater and it is just as good at home.
