Extremely hard to setup
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It took me about 1 hour to get this lock to properly "calibrate" to my door. Instructions were not very clear and I only got it right after extending the door lock with the door closed. I obviously was unable to get the deadbolt perfectly vertical but it is doing the job now of locking the door. Next challenge now is to get the lock to pair with my iPhone. Had to contact customer service on email and now waiting on directions. I don't recommend this unless you don't need to have your door properly locked on the first day you install it.

Do not purchase if you own a smartwatch!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will be returning my Kevo as soon as possible after speaking with their horrendous customer service. Since the date I purchased the device, I have been receiving error messages on my smartwatch that the kevo app has crashed. These messages occur every 10 minutes, and must be dismissed before I can even check the time as they take up the entire screen. Kwikset is aware of the issue, but has stated multiple times that they have no ETA for an update to correct the issue. I was told by their support that until an update is pushed at some point in the future, I should simply uninstall the Kevo app from my phone and use a standard key when unlocking my Kevo. If I wanted to use a standard key, I probably wouldn't have spent $200 on a smart deadbolt.
