Picked up the lock and installed it within five minutes. Love it no longer have to carry he's around to open the lock only my iPhone. Only has issues about one and a 30 uses when it fails to unlock. Make sure to keep your spare key in your vehicle just in case

Didn't give 5 stars since the Kevo Plus adapter, that enables you to open the door remotely, has been out of stock for over a month now.

The Kevo lock itself works fine however the lag time between detecting the iPhone or even the fob till the door actually unlocks can be excruciating. It is still quicker to unlock the door with a key when in a rush but it does what it says if not slowly. Installation was effortless and straight forward. Calibrating the each device was so annoying I gave up after five tries.

The Kwikset Kevo is an excellent product. However, our commercial aluminum door needed a thinner, smaller lock. Returned the product.

The product works great. Although installing the lock is relatively simple for the average handyman, setting it up to work with a smartphone can result in problems. This is overcome by the great product support team which usually can resolve the problem on the phone.

Overall good product, very happy, would recommend to anyone looking to purchase.

Nice product works well, very happy with the lock. Just don't like that they charge if you for every phone you want a key on after the first 2

Very important if you keep loosing your leys all the time

The good news is that the install was completely painless & keying the smart lock to match my existing keys was extremely simple. The bad news is... This thing only registers that I have my phone, fob or both on me maybe 50% of the time. Often I have to pull my phone out and hold it directly in front of the lock in order for it to work... and still even that is a crapshoot. Also, it is very hard not to touch the panel (Sometimes I don't believe I even made contact) while opening/exiting the house. The problem with that is upon touch, the deadbolt registers and locks even often before fully closing the door which requires many more steps to just leave. Whilest all the features are nice, and it is really cool when it works, it still has bugs that need to be worked out. [Integration with NEST is nice too]

It's pretty cool. Looks great and the included key matching system works awesome so I can use my old key. The lock does not lock/unlock instantly as it's wireless/bluetooth to your phone using encrypted virtual keys. Takes about 10-15 seconds to lock. Sometimes (4/10 times) I have to try to lock it twice.
