Music flow through out La La Land is fantastic!!!!

I am a fan of this film, but a much bigger one of the music that is so lively, sentimental and simply beautiful. Kudos to the main characters who bring the music to life, but especially to those who wrote the music and lyrics. It will make you sing and dance! Great stuff!

I like the musical score from La La Land although the singing by Emma Stone & Ryan Gosling was lackluster. The singing on the soundtrack is what you hear in the movie. There is no different recording (i.e. better singing) on the CD. But the musical score is lovely.

The music is awesome .Ryan Gosling voice isn't the best,but he did his best I guess in a couple of the songs. Mr. Gosling can sure play the piano which he leaned to play in 3mos .

This movie had outstanding music. I love it and my children love to listen to it while we are driving in the car as well!!!! Great price!!!

Saw this in the theater and liked the music so much that I had to have the soundtrack

If you know what my summary means and remember the works of Irving Berlin, you are going to love this. If you aren't into Theatre or Film Musicals, this might not be for you, but you might want to listen to a few tracks anyway. This is a modern-ish blend of Musical Show Tunes and Jazz (Poppy and Sad at times). The blend is an emotional roller-coaster, much like the film. After all, it is the soundtrack. It can leave you feeling depressed, hopeful, and excited all at the same time, which I do believe to be quite an accomplishment. I think my wife still has it playing in her car. Compared to most modern Pop, I would say the "La La Land" Soundtrack is an easy investment. I, personally, didn't think anyone had anything like this left inside them.

This wonderful CD provides the listener with the original motion picture soundtrack of the. critically acclaimed movie "La La Land" starring (doing their own singing and dancing) Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. For those who saw the movie, the songs enable the listener to visualize memorable scenes from the movie (such as "Another Day of Sun" which brings back the critically acclaimed opening scene on the traffic clogged L.A. freeway), and the wonderful "City of Stars" and "Lovely Night". For those who have not seen the film this CD is also well worth owning because of its wonderful songs. Hopefully, the box office success of La La Land will revive the original movie musical genre that was so popular with Hollywood producers in the 1950s.

I had been following the hype on this movie for a while so as soon as the soundtrack became available, which was before I was able to see the movie, I jumped at the chance. I was not disappointed, as this soundtrack was through and through incredible. At the time I am writing this, a day after the Golden Globes, it has won best original song and score - so I think that speaks for itself. I rarely buy CD's but when I do it has to be something truly special. 10/10 would recommend.

If you liked the movie, you will like this cd. Gave it as a gift to a friend.

This is a very well-produced soundtrack album, with all the music included. One can be very engaged in picturing the associated movie scenes, if one has seen the movie; and simply enjoy the outstanding music, lyrics and repeating themes of the talented composers if one hasn't seen the movie yet. If you are a movie musical fan...if you liked the movie "Chicago"...you will love this movie and the music that makes it a hit.

I am one of those people who have been saying, "You have to see this movie!". With that said, I had to get the CD since I couldn't get the songs out of my head. In this case I wanted the legit CD and not just downoladed files. Beautiful music just as I remembered from the movie. I noticed a lot of repeat music, however, remixed into fast or slow music which is not unexpected from a musical soundtrack.

Don't be fooled by its short run time. In only 15 tracks, the soundtrack to La La Land is a hallmark of the power of music in film. Beautifully composed and performed, it not only serves as the driving force of the film musical (it is a musical, after all!), but as a thrilling homage to the Golden Age of Musical Hollywood and of classic Hollywood films. An amazing ode to film, music, and art.

Justin Hurwitz will be recognized as one of America's great film score composers. His amazing ability to weave themes, adapt to lyrics, and provide the perfect interludes, makes him a master and La La Land stands as a lasting tribute to his talent. The sister CD to this Soundtrack is the Original Score. Both are must haves for any lover of original music !

This soundtrack consists of original compositions. Each is extraordinary. For those who have also seen the movie, the music is perfectly matched to the scene. However, each composition stands on its own. The CD offers pieces that fit different moods, from energetic, to romantic, to melancholic. Overall, it's one of the best soundtrack ever produces.

The music set the tone in so many ways for the film, it is the heart beat and ignites the passions and fireworks of the story. Beautifully written and realized by the musicians and actors who sing their own parts. I can't say enough good things about this soundtrack. Love it!

Loved the music of this movie after seeing it in the theaters. Right when the movie was done I felt the need to purchase the soundtrack. Great music & very catchy songs. Lots of instrumental stuff though for people who don't appreciate that kind of music (it's good though!).

I purchased the soundtrack to the film La La Land. Wonderful instrumentals and vocals comprise this recording. It brings back the enjoyment of seeing the film recently. In addition, I had a credit and the price was just right - a Best Buy for this guy!

As with the actual movie, the La La Land Soundtrack fills one with a lively, peppy feeling that almost makes one who doesn't dance to get on their feet. The undercurrent of real Jazz is heard throughout even above the clear jazz compositions.
