When we purchased our Switch for the grandbabies (3, 5 and 6 years old) we also purchased this box. It was going to be for them to build with their dad. It sat, unopened till last week when the older grandkids (10, 11 and 14) came to visit. The oldest had it built and playing in about 3 hours. I could not believe the design and engineering effort that went into creating this. Looking at it, I was sure it was going to be broken in a day or two. Now, after two weeks of playing by all but the youngest, it still works as designed. I'm very impressed by this puzzle/engineering/action game. The directions to build the thing are beautifully created as part of the on-screen gameplay and, when put together... well I'm still not sure what the goal of the game is. Note: You need to consider who will be putting this together before you buy it. It's not something that you take out of the box, plug in and start playing. It takes some time to get through the creation of the backpack (2 to 3 hours of uninterrupted time). If you're a mom or dad looking for a project to do with the 8 to 16 year olds, I highly recommend this.
