As long as you aware that it's not a high end VR solution, you will enjoy the fun of creating a VR device, and then use it to have some simple VR fun.

Nice starter kit for children wanting to learn more about VR. My 7 year old loves it and uses it almost daily. He had been asking for it for so long. Great product.

This Nintendo Lobo is awesome. Bought for my grandson and he loves it as well as his parents do. Time consuming to put together but we'll worth it to see the fun.

The Best Labo set so far, but kids lost interest

For a Labo set, this really is a pretty awesome VR set up. The build was fun without being overly challenging. The games are cool too. But while my kids were obsessed with it at first, they have lost some interest in it since and you still have the Labo problem of having to store large, fragile cardboard somewhere when not in use. I got this on a deal of the day for $20 (actually $10 with reward certificates) so it was definitely worth that for the amount of time they used it (cheaper than a movie). But I wouldn't expect this to be something they return to over and over again.

It’s not comparable to an oculus. The resolution is low, but nonetheless, seeing Zelda Breath of the Wild in 3D — even in poor resolution is amazing.

My son wanted to get this with his birthday money. I was hesitant, but after reading reviews I was optimistic. As soon as we got it home, he opened it up and started assembly. He totally nerded out over the design and how everything worked. After nearly 4 hours, he had it all done and played with it for 3 days straight. All of my skepticism is gone. Totally worth the price if admission and is easy enough to assemble that anyone could do it. As long as he takes care of it (it is cardboard after all), it should last at least as long as his Switch.

This isn't quite the standard VR experience as you may have noticed, though it works well enough. The view may be somewhat pixelated, but it's still very possible to become immersed. The fact you have to hold it up to your face isn't a huge deal either since you're using the controllers while connected. I'd say I got some enjoyment out of this, but I think kids would really like it more, and older teens/adults may hold off for a more traditional VR experience.
