Is a great Device but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't play competitive games like Battlefield 6 or Call of Duty because, with an 8.8-inch screen, I can't see the enemy. But it's very good for story-based games. Also, the joysticks have a very difficult configuration to adjust for competitive games. Aside from that, it's very good; it feels like it's made with very high-quality materials, and this handheld console is simply beautiful.

Great handheld unit, but not perfect
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the OLED screen, but disappointed that I couldn’t run the POE2 on the max. I believe the Window is making it do that…too many apps running..

Legion Go is so Close 2 Greatness
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is easily the most powerful available handheld on the market with the best screen too, allowing for a VRR range of 30-144Hz, smoothing gameplay from low to high frames. However, this handheld has some pretty glaring issues regarding that same panel. At low brightness it has a bad Mura effect on the OLED panel, making it very annoying to play certain games as the effect distorts colors and makes the panel look grainy. Barring the panel, the devices performance is extremely good. This handheld commonly outperforms its competitors like the ROG Xbox Ally X in many games, pair that perfomance with 32GB of ram and this device will not disappoint anyone looking for the best of the best. That power comes at a cost though, this device is bulky as it weighs 2lbs, which would be even more if you added an aftermarket case. While that may not sound very bulky, after about an hour or two of holding it in the air, your arms will start to tire. There is also the awkward right joystick position, it is located just far enough down that it makes it uncomfortable to use. If paired with the weight of the device, it can get pretty annoying to hold. The price point of this device is also absurd, at $1350 there is much better options when it comes to value for money, like the ROG Ally X, Legion Go S or even the Steam Deck. Overall, this device is for the people who purely want the best performance + screen in a handheld form factor and don’t have to worry about value for money.

Great Machine - A Bit Too Heavy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: * Versatile machine (kickstand, controller, etc) * Great performance * Decent battery Life * Best screen on the market Downsides: * Has Windows (SteamOS / Bazzite will perform better) * Weight is a bit much for a handheld. This was causing me to have hand/arm pain from extended play times. * Left controller seemed a bit loose and had some wobble * Touchpad is not as good as the Steam Deck Would prefer a Legion Go 2 S Steam OS edition with this oled panel.

Amazing handheld
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This handheld has been spectacular! For context tried to use an ROG Ally X earlier this year and I just could not get into it. 7in screen just did not cut it. The lego2 is phenomenal in this regard. The screen is gorgeous clearly the best among any handhelds undisputed. The ergonomics are also great although that's more of a subjective thing they certainly work great for me. So far my longest session with this has been 10+ hours and it's handled it like a champ. Battery life is pretty great easily going for 5+ hours on lower tdp games. Makes for an exceptional flight companion. The amount of programmable buttons is also quite nice makes it easy to map everything I want. Overall just an awesome device and with that gorgeous screen likely going to be great long past it's capabilities as an awesome game streamer too! That said it is pricey and could use a storage bump, I did end up plopping a 4Tb ssd and it is nice that I supports the 2280s but of course that brings the price even higher.

Best handheld PC on the market
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hands down the top dog in the handheld PC market. It's only downside is the thing is weighty and also the largest handheld, but this is made up for by its performance, versatility and the best screen you can get short of moving to a laptop or desktop PC. Speaking as an enthusiast who has bought most of these handhelds as they come out, the only one out there which can compete with the Legion Go 2 is the MSI Claw 8 AI+. which I also have and really enjoy.

GOOOOD
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently bought the Lenovo Legion Go 2 and honestly it’s really good but not perfect, the screen looks amazing (colors are super nice and sharp) and it runs heavy games pretty smooth thanks to the new Ryzen chip, also I like that the controllers can be removed and it has a stand which is very useful, but it’s kinda heavy after some time playing and Windows feels a bit weird on a handheld sometimes, plus the battery is just ok not the best if you play demanding games, overall I’m happy with it and I would say it’s a solid option if you want power in a portable device

Best in class Handheld device
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is pretty much the top of the line handheld available on the market right now. Huge screen, detachable controllers that allow the central computer to function like a tablet, gorgeous OLED (although requires a lot of tinkering, so i ended up not bothering) 1200p VRR 144hz screen, amazing controls (6 auxiliary buttons, including 4 back buttons and 2 side buttons, along with a dial that functions as a scroll wheel), strong built in kickstand. It's basically the composite of everything people wanted from the 2023 generation of handhelds in one device. 1349.99 for this, 1TB storage, 32GB RAM, and the new Z2 Extreme chip was honestly a steal. I was lucky enough to have gotten this the week before the prices rose, but if I had to get it at 2k, I would, although for the casual consumer who would have trouble appreciating an upgrade from LED to OLED, or 60 to 144fps, or fixed refresh to VRR, I wouldn't recommend it. That being said, this is pretty much THE dream handheld. Amazing for tinkering, if you want to turn this into an emulation machine, it's perfect for that. One thing to note that I noticed, my Steam Deck OLED has a more vibrant screen, with minimal tinkering. But again, Steam Deck OLED's screen is 90hz, no VRR, and 800p as opposed to 1200p. Highly recommend if price isn't a factor.

Best handheld ever
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgrading from the first-generation Lenovo Legion Go to the Legion Go 2 feels less like a minor spec bump and more like a refinement of the "handheld PC" vision. While the original was a powerhouse, it had some rough edges that have been notably smoothed out in this iteration. Display: The Star of the Show The shift to an OLED panel is the single most impactful change. While the original LCD was sharp, the OLED brings the deep blacks and vibrant contrast that games like Resident Evil or Silent Hill truly demand. The colors pop, and the motion clarity feels significantly improved, making the massive screen even more immersive than before. Hardware & Performance RAM & Processing: The jump in RAM is immediately noticeable when multitasking or running demanding AAA titles. System navigation feels snappier, and 1% lows in framerates have stabilized, leading to a much smoother gameplay experience. Games have ran flawlessly. Controls: Lenovo clearly listened to feedback regarding the original’s buttons. The inputs on the Go 2 feel more tactile and premium. The "wobble" found in some early detachable controllers seems to have been addressed with a more secure rail system. Battery & Thermal Management The device still draws a lot of power, but the efficiency of the newer chipset provides a slightly longer runway during unplugged sessions. More importantly, the thermal profile is better managed; the fans are less intrusive, and the device stays cooler in the hands during extended sessions of RoboCop: Rogue City or Yakuza. The Verdict If you already own the original, the decision to upgrade hinges on how much you value display quality and system responsiveness. The OLED screen and increased RAM make it feel like a "Pro" version of the original. Yes, the price hike was well worth it. Bottom Line: The Legion Go 2 is currently the gold standard for Windows handhelds, taking everything that worked about the first model and fixing almost every major gripe.

Portable Gaming Oasis
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Lenovo Legion Go 2 is a standout handheld that delivers excellent performance and versatility. Powered by a strong AMD Ryzen chip and 32gb of RAM, it handles modern AAA games smoothly, even at higher settings. The large, vibrant display enhances the experience with sharp, immersive visuals. Its detachable controllers and multiple play modes make it adaptable for gaming anywhere on the go or at a desk. The battery life also supports longer, more comfortable sessions. While slightly larger than some competitors, that extra size contributes to its premium feel and power. Overall, the Legion Go 2 is a top-tier choice for anyone wanting a high-performance handheld gaming experience.

This is the Current Handheld to Beat
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As someone that has owned just about every gaming handheld over the past several years (Steam Deck, SD OLED, ROG Ally X, Legion Go S Steam OS, ROG XBOX Ally X), the Legion Go 2 Z2E is the best of everything. It has the best screen you can find (it’s hard to go back after playing on an OLED screen), is very versatile, quiet, powerful and Legion Space runs well. I know it’s large, but the trade off is an immersive experience that makes it hard to re-adjust to a 7 inch screen. I know it’s expensive, but with the added features over the XBOX Ally X, $350 more is actually worth it for the screen, Hall effect joysticks, 32GB RAM and much more. Highly recommend - this will be my preferred gaming handheld for the next few years.

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's be real it's very expensive but I absolutely love it! To be fair I also absolutely love the original Legion go. I didn't have a great reason to upgrade but I just really wanted more RAM and a bigger battery. It runs everything I ask it to usually at high or greater settings. It's a little heavy but my wrist still gets stronger as I use it. The Xbox full screen experience makes a huge difference with usability and performance. If you've got the spare change this is the one I would go for. Though the two terabyte model would have definitely been worth it if I could have gotten my hands on it since I ended up buying a four terabyte drive to put in it.

Powerful PC gaming handheld with an amazing screen
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing PC gaming handheld. The screen size nice to have compared to the other popular PC handhelds. OLED makes it amazing. The windows OS still needs tweaking to perform better, namely de-bloating but it still works great and allows for games with anti-cheat that don't work under Linux. I am very happy with my Legion Go 2 after upgrading from my LCD Steamdeck. Minor nitpicks are the right controller thumb stick position isn't the greatest, but I can make due. The legion space app also isn't as polished as it could be. Hopefully they do some more work on it or just go to the XBOX full screen experience for the default launcher.

Monster handheld PC!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gaming is just 1 of the many things this portable PC can handle. It's a multi-purpose machine that boast the best OLED screen of any other handheld currently. Fast and responsive. I don't play FPS games since I get motion sickness easily but RPG and fighting games look stunning!! Make sure to watch some Youtube videos on how to optimize the Legion Go 2 Extreme for optimal performance. Yes it is pricey but if you want the best you have to pay for it. No regrets on this purchase!

Worth Every Penny!!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off I owned a Steam Deck and LeGo gen 1. Mostly wanted this guy for the better screen and the slightly better performance to play certain games a bit better). The screen did not disappoint whatsoever. This device is a bit on the heavy side but that doesn't bother me at all. Battery life varies depending on the game but its definitely a massive improvement over the first Legion Go device. If your willing to invest in the cost of this device, you wont be disappointed. I did upgrade my SSD with a 4tb and was super easy to install. Having this made it easy to install a ton of games and emulators.
