The kick stand works as you'd expect from a Switch OLED so that's very nice. I hate how heavy it is. I hate that the controllers have big buttons on the back of them. It doesn't matter if they're not automatically bound to anything. Comfort is ruined by them and redundant button presses are very annoying. The Lenovo software is very laggy and often minimizes the game I'm playing. The D pad is the absolute worst of any gaming peripheral. It feels too shallow. It's very obvious many choices made on this device were not tested by gamers. The touch pad works fine whilst attached to the device however I noticed in wireless mode it's very inaccurate. You are getting a lot of good hardware for the money but the chassy and Lenovo software is terrible so it doesn't matter how good the Z1 Extreme is. In my opinion, this is the first big brand handheld gaming PC that feels like you're paying a large corporation to do their testing for them. The Steam Deck and ROG Ally have their issues but they are both far more enjoyable since they both got the basics right especially the Steam Deck.
