Better than Steam Deck
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No problems with it so far. Good battery life, but you do have to set it to conserve power, more powerful games will use more power of course.

Legion Go is amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from the steam deck lcd to this, Legion go is a better gaming experience for me. But steam deck takes the user experience in general. I'vs installed Bazzite OS on my Legion for steam os like experience and its better than windows.

Excellent handheld pc
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a new field of industry but they are making good strides every day. The legion go suffers from and benefits from this like all the others. It has its quirks but its still young and they are improving every day. As far as bang for your buck, this is your best choice.

Good performance, but software still needs work.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very happy with it, especially with the open box price. Mostly no issues with it so far, software could still use a lot of work but still works fairly well once you get used to it. Use it as my main pc and works well enough for pretty much anything I want to use it for.

need some work.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great concept however, you have to make a lot of adjustment when it comes to playing different games, comparing with the ROG ally, I rather have the ROG ALLY than this.

Great concept, poor execution
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Lenovo Legion Go is an ambitious concept that brings a lot of excitement to portable gaming. The idea of having a high-performance gaming device on the go is fantastic, and the device does deliver on performance and features. However, the execution falls short in a couple of critical areas. The ergonomics are lacking, making it uncomfortable to hold for extended periods, and the quality of the materials used feels subpar, detracting from the overall experience. If Lenovo can improve these aspects in future iterations, this could be a stellar product. For now, it’s a mixed bag that shows potential but needs refinement.

Posted .Hello,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're sorry to hear that you ran into an issue. We strive to provide the best experience possible, so if you'd like to, we want to work with you to try to resolve this.
Regarding the battery life, since the Legion Go can pack gaming laptop level performance in a handheld device, power can drain quickly. Depending on the demand of the game you're playing, by pressing the Legion R button to launch the quick menu, you can switch to lower power mode to save battery. In the menu, under the performance tab, users can toggle thermal modes and prioritize battery life by using the default mode or creating a custom thermal mode should you not be satisfied with the 3 presets. These adjustments can also be made by going into Legion Space > Settings (Legion Space can be launched quickly by pressing the Legion L button (Legion Logo above the button).
Please don't hesitate to let us know what else we can do to improve your experience, as your satisfaction is important to us.
Best regards,
Lenovo

Dissapointingly underpowered
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The idea for this product is good but it doesn't quite perform well enough to serve its intended purpose. The touch screen looks nice but is not quite responsive enough to replace a mouse. The virtual keyboard does not always come up when needed, and manually pulling it up is a pain. You can use a full mouse and keyboard if you plug in an adapter to one of the usb-c inputs, but at that point you have something as cumbersome as a laptop. The item description saying this has 2 full sized usb-c ports is a bit misleading, as one of those ports is needed to power the product. So it really only uas 1 input, and usb-c is not what most accessories use, so you will need an adapter of some kind to use most accessories. The biggest issue i had with this though is the power is not quite there. it played stardwew valley and fallout: new vegas fine, but it played "Return to Grace" (a walking sim) very poorly (10 fps or less) and struggled greatly when playing State of Decay 2. SoD 2 slowed to a crawl whenever i entered a building or encountered any zombies, making the game basically unplayable. Neither Return To Grace nor State of Decay 2 are super-demanding games, so it is very disappointing that the Legion Go cannot run them at an acceptable frame rate. If you fiddle with the settings you might be able to get them to play OK, but it seems like a bad sign to me to have so much trouble with only moderately demanding games. i returned this item and got a gaming laptop instead, which was about $1100, and it played State of Decay 2 absolutely great, with no fiddling with settings etc. For most gamers, I think a mid-priced gaming laptop is a better bargain and makes for a far less frustrating experience.

Posted .Hello, ConsumerMan. We are sorry to hear that the Legion Go missed the mark for you and that you felt that you were misled, leading to you returning it. To try to address your issues, the Legion Go was designed users looking for a great gaming experience, given the titles they wish to play align with the specifications of the Legion Go, without being tied to a desk or carry a laptop. The full-function USB-C ports give users more functionality and the ability to charge in either port, two in total, matching the item description as you stated. If users want to leave these ports open more often and use peripherals, accessories like Bluetooth keyboards, mouses, and headsets can help with that. In the future, if you are having trouble with your Legion Go, please feel free to reach out for help, as each Go comes with 1-year free of Legion Ultimate Support, there for assistance for performance issues like what you encountered. We appreciate your time detailing your perspective with us, and we hope that you choose to try out the Legion Go again in the future.
