Great gaming handheld + PC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a steam deck as well and the lenovo legion outperforms the steam deck by a long shot. Controls can be a bit wonky at first but everything can be customized and ANY game can be played opposed to the steam deck playing only games that can support functionality (e.g dragonball fighter z, some warhammer titles, etc.) Only downside in my opinion of the legion go is the battery. When playing performance mode the battery drains drastically. Steam deck does last a bit longer but you are sacrificing performance. I like that you can take the controllers off and play with them on the legion go. Windows 11 is pretty easy to work with. Overall i would recommend this product.

Amazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from the 256GB Steam Deck, and this is exactly what I was looking for when I purchased the Deck. Better screen, better compatibility, buttons feel better, and the ability to easily install other apps such as Playnite. One thing the reviewers are not doing is upping the settings for the VRAM when testing, so it looks to test a little slower than the ROG Ally when they are actually the same performance in the graphics area. When I see a reviewer do this (not up the VRAM), I totally discount their knowledge of the product they are reviewing. Some complain about it having Windows as the underpinnings, but for me that is a pro. I can minimize the game and check my emails, and then back to gaming. Also, games just work and I don't have to worry if the game has a green checkmark like I have to do with my Deck. My only complaint is the Legion Go software, but it is exactly what I expected as it a new device and the ROG Ally and Steam Deck had early issues as well, but again, I installed Playnite and just bypassed anyway, so not a huge deal at all as I probably would have done this anyway. Pros: Comfort (this one suppressed me), stick and button feel, D-Pad feels great as well, screen size (great for those of us that like games where there is text we have to be able to actually read), color, brightness, and vibrancy. Has a very nice and usable mouse (A must for these type of devices IMO). Built in kickstand. Performance. Easy to install other games that are not Steam. Cons: The Legion Go software (Legion Space) still has to grow. Battery life (But all these devices are plagued by this), This thing exceeded my expectations, and have the handheld I was hoping for.

So far so good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is cool af i can play gamepass and so much more on it on the go! And its plays my games well even when set to medium settings this thing plays them smooth as butter. Only thing i dislike is how fast the battery drains i get about 2 hours depending on what game i play, i suppose thats pretty good though just wish there was an update that could help to somehow optimize the battery a lil bit. I wont be returning over the battery it seems others get less or about the same i get so that just tells me its very powerful and even though its supposed to be a on the go portable pc its ment to actually be plugged in mostly i will invest in a good portable battery bank and be just fine haha. One other downside i will mention is when 1st setting up this up it took me over three hours to finally be able to play anything i had to go through so many updates and installs its insane that almost made me return this but im glad i didnt and sruck through it cause it was so worth it. Im going to go back to playing little kitty big city on my legion go now hope this review is helpful to someone see ya.

Posted .Hi, EvoTheFallen1. Thank you for choosing Lenovo! We are glad to hear that your Legion Go is now working great for you and that your issues were ironed out for the most part. Regarding the battery life, depending on the demand of the game you're playing, by pressing the Legion R button to launch a quick menu. In the menu, under the performance tab, users can toggle thermal modes and prioritize battery life by using the default mode or creating a custom thermal mode should you not be satisfied with the 3 presets. These adjustments can also be made by going into Legion Space > Settings (Legion Space can be launched quickly by pressing the Legion L button (Legion Logo above the button). We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us.

Good if you can handle the set-up time/work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading a number of detailed reviews online and trying the in-store demo, we decided to give the Legion Go a try. The screen is large, and the kickstand is handy. The device also comes with three months of "free" access to Xbox Game Pass, which is a plus. Setting up the device took longer than I expected -- I needed to watch a lot of tutorials and spend a few hours installing driver updates and manually tweaking configurations to get the first game I downloaded to even work. The most annoying feature was a bug in which I continuously experienced serious drift on one of the controllers, that made it virtually unusable. A more tech-savvy family member spent a few hours on the device too, and largely fixed the problem but there was a time when I thought I was going to return the Legion Go and call it a bust. Now that everything is set up, it has been great for playing games on Steam and Xbox. But, it was definitely not as user friendly as other portable gaming handhelds. I appreciate the big screen (one of the reasons I got it!) but it does come at the expense of portability.

Best Windows Handheld
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want a handheld that can natively play Windows games, this is the one you should get. There are two main issues that might make it not right for you. I ended up returning mine mostly because the screen was too small, but that's not the device's fault, I'm just old. The screen is actually great. And the integrated graphics are never going to push 2000 fps on insane settings, but the Z1 Extreme is amazing for most games and it doesn't feel like you're holding a helicopter trying to take off. Those are all the real downsides, though. The built-in software isn't perfect, but it's fine, and you can always ignore it if you don't like it. The trackpad placement issue is a minor annoyance that you can work around easily depending on hand size. Nothing has a 3 day battery life, bring a portable charger if you're on the road. This thing is great for riding on a bus or train or plane if you have some time to kill while traveling. Also great for just hanging out on the couch.

Overall good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been enjoying my Legion Go. Great screen size, lots of power and plays just about everything that I want it to play. What I would like to see in the future is better battery life and more upgradable options. I know I can upgrade the SSD and also add a microSD, but I would like to take it a step further and make it fully upgradable. This handheld is grest, but the battery life is a downer. Most of the time I play it plugged in and on desktop mode with an xbox controller and that works well other than when I need to leave steam and switch to something else, then I have to manually change it on the Legion Go as opposed to the controller im already using.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lenovo legion go is AWESOME. Runs games amazingly, the bigger screen is super nice to use, FPS mode is a game changer for the portable PC space. If i had to choose the steam deck, rog ally, or the lenovo legion go. Im choosing the GO all day. I have all 3 and the GO is seriously just better.
