Excellent Handheld PC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great portable gaming handheld PC. Thought about the Asus but has problems with overheating the SSD/nvme drive. Bought this for my son and he loves it. You can play steam, epic, ae, and gog games. He has not had any troubles and loves the portability for the past month. Well worth the money if you can get open box or get a discount. Little mouse pad is annoying but touchscreen makes up for it.

Good start
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So this is a cool concept with fps mode. However clunky software and the inability to use the full amount of ram thanks to the uma buffer in bios not having an auto setting this limits you to 12 gigs of usable ram so you cant run games like alan wake 2 which is playable on the rog ally. The bigger screen is nice and button placement could be better in My opnion. In fps mode the buttons preassigned do not give you all essential controls and some are double mapped by defualt. The analogue sticks are nice but very touchy making it difficult in competitive shooters when in controller mode. Hopefully they will fix this with a software update allowing you to manually adjust in the settings at some point as for now the biggest thing this has going for it over the rog ally is fps mode and a bigger screen with less usable ram and a higher refresh rate with no freesync support. Also the amd adrenaline software does not launch on the legion go even though I uninstalled it and reinstalled the same version that is running on the rog ally. Overall needs more work to the software and implementation of the device.

Good portable PC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing portable PC, shipping was a bit miscommunicating from Best Buys end, but other than that no complaints. Was open box but not even touched or unwraped. Worth the $$. This was a gift for my fiance and he is obsessed, he prefers this over his XBOX, switch, or other gaming systems. Combined into one. Very cool.

It’s okay
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The screen is nice and large as others have mentioned. The software is not great, but to get it working it was easier than when I first purchased the ROG Ally. The left controller is loose when installed, the screws are tight but because it doesn’t use rails I have a feeling this will happen to most devices over time. No VRR is also a turnoff because screen tearing makes for a worse experience. The kick stand is really nice so you don’t have to use a dock. I don’t think it’s that much better than the ROG which is actually more portable and polished and the Steam Deck OLED seems like the handheld to geat currently. I just wish it had a more powerful chip.

Don't pay attention to the 1-star above!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The guy above gives it 1-star because it's back-ordered. Face-Palm!!! The reviews are designed to be about the product. Your review doesn't actually help anyone when they are thinking about purchasing the product. The review isn't about Best Buys shipping time.

Its good but not as good as the steam deck
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Computation wise its on par with the steam deck but battery life leaves much to be desired in comparison - I feel tethered to the wall because of this. Screen feels lacking in comparison to an OLED panel too

Dont Buy Into the Hype!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned this for 1.5 days and that was enough. I never owned the Asus Ally but from my brother’s experience, it was well built, the software worked great, and it was a well thought out device. The Go is a major misstep. My Legion Go had controllers that kept disconnecting, RGB lights not turning on, software that was horrendous and wouldn’t work ever, a loud fan, i had to install their software for them without it being installed already (poor user experience), annoying side button placement that would get hit every time when holding it unless you uncomfortably misshaped your hand as to avoid pressing them, controllers that wouldnt properly attach to the device, horrific battery life (no updates or programs running on “balance” mode ans it drained 27% in 30 minutes) and last but not least, features that Lenovo lied about that didn’t make it to the final production model. The only plus about the device is that it “felt” very premium. It was like putting lipstick on a pig to cover up the rotten stench of this broken device. Lenovo rushed it and tried to put too much into the device instead of sticking with what works for gamers.
