      Hi Jenniferl-

Thank you for choosing Lenovo and sharing your experience with us. We are happy to hear that you are enjoying the Legion Go. We aim to offer great user experience, and we would like to recommend a few actions to improve your battery life.

Firstly, we recommend running and installing all available drivers updates through Legion Space, these updates are crucial to the device’s health and power consumption leading to improved battery life. To check for updates within Legion Space begin by launching the application, then click "Disks and Drivers" located at the bottom of the display, then select "Check for Updates".

The Legion Go can also adjust the active performance profile and fan speed of the device based on your needs. To start press the hexagonal options key located on the right controller, then select the performance tab represented by the gauge symbol, from here you can adjust the performance mode. We suggest using Quiet mode which will enhance battery life. You can also toggle this at any time by holding down the hexagonal Steam button and tapping the Y button.

Please reach out to us through the Q & A section of this product webpage if you have any questions or need any assistance.

      Best wishes,
      Lenovo Lenovo

This is a nifty little device that can do a lot. It plays games really well and works as a computer on the go. The controllers feel really good in your hands. It’s more my fault but sometimes the legion button and settings button get pressed thinking they are start and select button as they are in the same spot as on the switch. It can play triple A games at low settings. The screen is very large and very sharp. Overall a really fun device to own

I have been using mine for two years now and I absolutely love it. I have owned the steam deck and the asus rog ally and for some reason with the larger screen, this unit just plays better. Its powerful, has a built in stand and so far is just great. Just like the steam deck though, you really gotta be careful with some games as they just will not work great on a handheld for various reasons.

Definitely a superior product, very innovative with its design and software! It’s not perfect but it’s one of a kind. Most games can easily be launched and played without any tweaking. For higher demanding games I did minor tweaks to graphics with this device easily playing games at 50-60fps consistently on medium-high settings with games such as mw3 and fortnite. The controls feel really solid in my hands, though the handheld is a bit heavy when holding and playing on the go. I enjoy the fps mode but have yet to fully utilize it as intended. The touchpad is sleek and responsive and the device has amazing haptics. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys PC gaming and wants something convenient on the go. This thing is literally a PC handheld. It also comes with a high quality travel case which you can charge your device from a little outlet while it’s in the case. Overall a perfect 9/10 from me.

I haven't had too much play time on it but i was pleasantly surprised. It did studder on some games but the graphics were probably too high. When I cranked them down it ran smooth. The kickstand and controllers are nice and it is big but doesn't feel too heavy.

Coming from a Steam Deck, there are a lot of things i love about Legion Go and a few things i dont. Positives: the main unit seems like it has fantasic build quality, the screen is a absolutely beautiful, fps mode actually works well, two usb-c ports is so convenient, pretty darn powerful, detactable controllers, Windows device? Negatives: Legion Space software is not fully baked and needs work, when the controllers are detached they are super light, but makes them feel a little cheap, the buttons are good - but i prefer the Steam Deck, Windows device? Overall, im happily surprised by this device.

Besides BestBuy sending the wrong ssd size I appreciate them letting me try it out over the holiday and then making a return. It is a fantastic machine. Lenovo had a rough start. Right around the 24th of December 23 the most recent and last update i got before returning it is fantastic. Lenovo is on the right path. I think they should have ditched the 512gb and just had a 1tb or 2tb option. I personally don't compare this to the steamdeck because they both have their own styles. I do however feel that Lenovo is superior in power. If you want a big screen and know how to navigate windows 11 Lenovo won't let you down. If you struggle with computers go with the steamdeck more especially the oled. If you do go with the Lenovo, make sure you get the 1tb version or 512gig only if you plan to upgrade at your own risk. Cheers and never stop gaming.

I have had others Windows gaming consoles but this is the only one with big screen and detachable controllers. It can handle most AAA games, no problem. I love the way the right controller can become a mouse for FPS game

With the screen and joysticks this is a better experience than the ally and the deck. It is heavier and the battery life is about 2 hours on performance mode but the way it plays games and how they look is a great trade off.

The console feels great to hold, both with the controllers in the console and detached. Relatively easy to set up gaming applications though I did hit a snag with Game Pass. The date and time were not automatically set out of the box, which caused my game pass games to not start up. Easy fix but just a warning. Fair warning: although it runs most of my games great, they do not always run well at 1440p, which is one of the biggest advertised features. If you were hoping to run higher end games on this at higher resolutions than Steam Deck, lower your expectations slightly. Also this thing eats through battery very fast on performance mode, maybe 1-2 hours of play before I need a recharge. Overall, love the console despite its shortcomings. If you're worried about fussing with Linux on Steam Deck, then this might be worth a look.

There's a lot of good to say about the Legion Go, but I couldn't look past a few issues that are hopefully fixed in the next model. 1) The dpad. 90% of what I play are fighting games. I have no issues whatsoever playing them on the Ally, but the dpad on the Go is so firm, flush, and flat that it makes diagonals very difficult to use. It's totally fine for menu navigation etc, but using it as a main control method was not even considered when this thing was designed. 2) Even after watching countless videos the Go's weight, size, and chunkiness was more than I expected. It feels premium for sure and the screen is really nice, but I found the weight and size shortened my gaming sessions because it became annoying and uncomfortable to hold. The kickstand is wonderful and helps with this issue, but if I need to sit it on the table to play it then I may as well use my laptop. 3) The coil whine was unbearable. I can deal with how hot the Go got and how loud the fans were compared to the Ally, but the coil whine was the breaking point. Sure, I can cover it up with headphones, but everyone in the room has to hear the screeching and whoooshing of the coil whine and fans. My wife's review is "what the $%@& is that noise??" 4) Joycon/controller wobble. I hate it on the Switch and I hate it here. I get why it's there, but for someone like me who can't stand it, it's a big issue. This is more of a personal preference knock than an actual device issue like the dpad. The Go is great, it really is, but had I been able to mess with the dpad and hold the device in person prior to buying it, I never would have made the purchase. I feel like this was primarily designed with "PC gamers" in mind (heavy laptop users, touchpad, large screen, 'fps mouse mode', kickstand etc) whereas the Ally was designed for "handheld gamers" in mind (smaller, lighter, better dpad). But when the performance is practically identical (Ally Z1 Extreme), then you just have to decide whether or not you want the specific features, and problems, of the Legion Go or if you want a lighter, smaller, more "handheld-y" device with the Ally.

The 8-in screen is perfect for handheld mode play for me with my visual impairment. the ergonomics are top-notch better than the previous handheld I had. Built-in microSD card expansion is amazing although could be placed at the bottom of the handheld instead of nearby the fans. The ability to take the controllers off the handheld and gyro aiming makes Old School shooters on console play so much better in a lot of situations in combat. Well the FPS mode is great for being able to use the right controller as a mouse but also is great in standard handheld mode when playing classic dos platformers like Commander Keen, jazz jackrabbit and, the first two Duke nukems.

I love the screensize and the ergonomics of this handheld. There were some software issues, but updates having been rolling out over the last few weeks, and it seems to only be getting better and better. I’ve gotten back to playing single players games again because of this handheld; right now it’s Octopath Traveler 1. I hope lenovo keeps up the good work and continues to improve on this. The only thing I could say I wish was that the screen was OLED; if they make a version 2 refresh, that should be top of the list. It also would be nice if there was a 24GB or 32GB RAM model. 16GB is very limiting, especially when it’s shared between the CPU and GPU.

There is a lot to love about this handheld, picture quality is outstanding. Build quality is great. It plays pretty much every AAA game, though the most demanding will require lowering graphical settings. The one thing that I really am not happy with is the button placement. The buttons on the side of the right controller are just in the way. You can't help but hit them with your palm all the time. Now they don't do anything in handheld mode, but it's still uncomfortable and annoying hitting the two side buttons all the time. Annoying enough that I will be returning my unit and sticking with Rog Ally and Steam Deck. Also, it's heavy, a little to heavy for me. But popping out the kickstand and using detached controllers does alleviate that and is very fun to play that way, though unless your using fps mode, your still hitting those darn side buttons.

I bought an aftermarket dock for it and hooked it up to the tv so I could play it like my switch. I love the detachable controllers so I can now play from the comfort of my couch while the system is docked. I choose this over the steam deck because it’s easy to add all of my gaming platforms on there, epic, gog, steam, etc.
